2nd Anniversary Retrospective

Heeya buddies! It's me, Ggando12. The person who makes goofy animutations in 2023-2025 ! If you are reading this, then this page is for the 2nd anniversary for Image Animations! I don't really have a rap song planned like what Neil did with his Animutations, but I have this really long retrospective where I go in-depth with everything I made for my Image Animations!

Before Image Animations

Long before I even started making Image Animations. I would always make these music videos in my head of whatever song I was listening to at the time. I don't remember how it started, but my earliest memories were in 2020 when I would listen to Eminem, Tally Hall, Hatsune Miku, or whatever other song / artist I was exposed to at the time. And I would just walk around with a music video idea forming on my head. For Eminem in particular, I would imagine a SCP whose anomaly was that it would alter the world around it as if a music video is currently happening (you know how music videos are often soo darn weird? If you don't know what I mean, look up the music video for Counting Stars, it's basically like that). Now that I think about it, that's a fire SCP idea! That has to have existed already, right?

Around early 2023. I was falling down a rabbit hole of early Neil Cicierega such as Deporitaz and Animutations. I remember finding this website called "AlbinoBlackSheep" which contains an entire category for animutations! Which is pretty much where I found a ton of NC Animutations. There was one animutation called "Earth vs. Funk" which I really enjoyed and replayed a buncha times! It was easily my favorite NC animutation and I always watched it whenever I had the chance to!

As for Deporitaz, I don't even remember why I decided to listen to it. I guess I had just gotten bored with Lemon Demon and decided to try out Neil's older stuff. Despite what everyone says, I actually really like Deporitaz! Just hearing all the bips and bops ringing on my ears makes for a fun time! I especially like Microwave This CD with its banging songs like Molten Lava 2000, Seizures in the Sun, Untitled, and Cheezy as Cheez

Something you might not think about when you think of Image Animations is Bonnie's Bakery! Despite the game starting in 2022, I never actually had much care for the game until the Fresh Ingredients DLC came along in early 2023, which is when my fixation for Bonnie's Bakery peaked. I would play the CRAP out of the game, finding all the small secrets and glitches and improving the very small fandom wiki for the game. I would use AssetStudio to extract all the sprites and assets to find secrets much more easily! I don't remember if I found anything important, but I did save the Bingus escape cutscene!

All four of these things were the reason why I made Image Animations, as they all fit together in my head like a puzzle piece! It wouldn't take long until I'd make my first Image Animation!

Bingus and my Everlasting Sanity

Commentary

The first Image Animation I ever made! My idea for making this came from my love for Deporitaz, Animutations, and Bonnie's Bakery! As well as my attempt to try and use Davinci Resolve

Characters

Behind the Scenes

Even before I worked on BamES. I've had a ton of ideas for Deporitaz animations, especially with Milkshake City Here We Come. I initially had Felix Munch from Purrfect Apawcalypse instead of Bingus as the main focus. I don't remember the exact cast listing, but it may have had Susie from Deltarune or Buff Natsuke from DDLC?? It even had OCs from my head, but I am bad at character art so I scrapped that idea. Felix Munch didn't have a crouch animation / gif, but Bingus did! So I used her instead

My initial idea for making Bingus and my Everlasting Sanity was that I wanted to practice using Davinci Resolve. I previously used it to edit my Crystal Seeker speedrun, but it was mainly for basic cuts. So using it for my Image Animations would be an interesting combination

My other idea of making this Image Animation came from my love for Animutations, so I made this as a sort of "love letter" to the genre and everything else I love. You'll be seeing more love letters to animutations the more we delve deeper, with each entry being a lot more love letter-y than the last

The name itself came from a mix of my favorite character at the time (Bingus) and my lack of sanity after finishing the project. I didn't really had a final name for the animation whilst making it

The way I get the character images for my animations is fairly tricky. If I own the game that the character are from, I could just retrieve them from the game files. If I couldn't do that, or didn't own the game. I'd just search fandom for the character images. However, at the time, I didn't know how to retrieve the raw files from the wiki. So I ended up getting a webp file. So what I had to do was head onto freeconvert.com and convert the file into a png so that I can use it.

You may notice that the Cat gif is quite buggy. That is because I tried doing the same procedure, but it seems that gifs had a few problems and ended with the white background (previously transparent). Speaking of gifs, Davinci Resolve didn't support gifs around this time. So I had to convert them to mp4 which created this buggy effect

I made the first 15 seconds in day 1 as a demo and showcased it to my friends. The demo is a lot different from the final version. It included an unused character which looked similar to Bingus but with a moustache. The backstory for moustached bingus (and the ukrainian bingus) is that some time before the creation of this image animation, I was joking around with my cousin about Bingus' secret cousin. I would then open up Microsoft Paint and open up the Bingus sprite, and then I drew a crude looking moustache and then saved it. I recall giving it a goofy name, but I forgot what the name was. My cousin wanted to do something similar so he opened up the Bingus sprite and then changed the clothes to blue and the hair yellow. He then gave it a name, but I kinda forgot that as well. I asked him about it recently and he said that Ukranian Bingus might be named 'Yingus'. In the demo version, the other bingus versions had a white background. I decided I wanted to recreate Yingus in Paint dot net so that I could have a transparent background. I didn't do the same to moustache bingus, probably because two bingus' is already enough. RIP Moustached Bingus

After I finished making the first demo, I sent it to Crashie204 and my cousin for feedback. I'd also later send a teaser image to Crashie204 during the second day. Which is the only few pre-release things I recall making for this Image Animation

Speaking of the second day. It was alot different compared to the first. I was hard at work for a Monke Game fangame and I wanted an excuse to slack off, so I went into Davinci Resolve and decided to finish the entire animation, which took the entire second day. My father (and a few other people) insisted that I should make it public, but I decided against it because of how different it is compared to everything else. I look back on that day every time, and I feel like I made the right choice!

Trivia

Kleptospira

Commentary

The second IA that I worked on! I have no idea what "Kleptospira" actually means. I might've just invented a new word, though I like to interpret it as being really green. Hence the character choice

Characters

Behind the Scenes

Right after working on BamES. I started working on yet another Image Animation because summer vacation was starting to end and my cousin was starting to leave, and so I made this as quickly as possible so that they can see it!

Around the time, Damn Skippy got remastered. And it featured an entirely new tracklisting! The song that really stuck with me was Bottom Line. I immediately knew I had to turn that song into an Image Animation

The song itself is four minutes long, which isn't really that ideal for my Image Animation. So I edited the song a bunch to remove a few segments. You can see this version of the song in the Kleptospira demo

I remember having a ton of ideas for names of Image Animations. Namely "Laura's Strangest Dream", "SPIDERS!", "Hidden Mystery", and "Kleptospira". This Image Animation remained unnamed for a long time until I finished it and just gave it the "Kleptospira" name

Trivia

Purely Patches

Commentary

This video is a lot more gimmicky than the rest. In that it only uses one character throughout the entire runtime. This is also one of the most comprehensible animations in my catalouge. You can show this to someone and they would easily comprehend it

Characters

Behind the Scenes

The creation of this IA was due to a particular Tumblr Sexyman tournament going on which included Patches. I decided to create this to increase the mood of the people who voted for Patches. I never actually shared it to that much people so it became obscure. If you are wondering, Patches lost in the second bracket, idk to who though

Whilst creating this IA. My hard drive that I was previously using had crashed and it's contents were unaccessible. So I switched to a new one and had to basically start over. It's still collecting dust in my table, and I still desperately want it fixed

Trivia

Hot Lava

Commentary

Crap it's this one..

To explain what this is all about. This was around the time when I got exposed to high complexity animutations (A Sticky Night Of Love, Wizard Power, Allosaurus.gif). And I loved the idea of being purely random and absurd that I would dedicate this Image Animation to trying to imitate those animutations

Characters

Behind the Scenes

Even before working on this Image Animation. I had already planned out a lot of segments on my head. Stuff like the Aimkid, Jacksepticeye, and DAGames Baldi segments were fully thought of

I was also planning on making a part two with Deporitaz's "Molten Lava 2000". Just like the song, it would've been a lot more chaotic than the original. But I never got around to doing it because of conflicting plans

Trivia

Erika

Commentary

Erika is a bit of a weird Image Animation. Because it's the first one I made in Scratch, and the one where it borders between being an Animutation and an Image Animation. And it also has vocals

This is also my most viewed animation, which I blame the nazis for

(So this commentary is going to be a lot more different from the other ones. Because the Youtube upload of this Image Animation got flagged. So instead, I will just talk about what happens in order of appearance without timestamps)

  1. The idea of adding Boykisser as a secret is pretty stupid. But I wanted them to be included in an Image Animation and I figured I'd do it right now
  2. Ironically enough. The Intro was one of the last things I made for this Image Animation. The Pigs with Trumpets took a while to remove the background for
  3. At the same time. The part where the pig hides as the sky and the intro reveals itself is such an awesome intro! 2023 me is both really cringe and really talented!
  4. Having Freddy Fazbear lipsync was REALLY hard. This was my first Image Animation I made in Scratch (sunbeam light show flower seed animation is not an Image Animation), and I didn't have an engine built up. So a lot of the work was done manually. Well I still do it manually, it's just a lot less complicated
  5. I think it's hilarious how Deporitaz just increases in size. That was pretty funny
  6. The Apple Cat scenes having no background is intentional, and looks really stupid
  7. I admit that seeing DanTDM with that face reminded me of the Gaster Blaster. Thinking about that got me the idea of him using a laser blast to kill Freddy
  8. Rest in Piece Freddy Fazbear.

Characters

Behind the Scenes

This Image Animation was made for a school halloween event where we had to wear a costume representing a country and we had to say some stupid line or something. I went with Germany since my father was learning German at the time. And I had the idea to create an Image Animation related to Germany.

I was originally planning on creating "High Voltage" from Lemon Demon's "Zero Gravity". But then realized I had no idea what to do with the song. So I asked one of my classmates to recommend me a German song to use for my Image Animation. They told me about "Erika" so now I had a chosen song!

I had also discovered the very small Animutation community in Scratch. I wanted to make my presence known so I decided to make Erika in Scratch!

This animation was originally meant to be longer with a different song that lasted 3 minutes. But after dealing with the first verse, I realized I had no idea what to do with the rest of the song. So I just used a shorter version which only extended to the first verse

Trivia

For the sake of this commentary, I will be calling Scratch Image Animations "Animutations". Since that is what they really are

Hidden Mystery

Commentary

A commentary for this IA also exists

This Image Animation has a very interesting gimmick to it. Throughout the animation, there are wingding symbols that show up. And you have to translate all of them before the end!

This also has a theme of the characters being related to Gaster (and bingus because she is always here)

Characters

Behind the Scenes

This Image Animation is based on Gaster because of the weird sounds that show up at the 0:23-0:32 reminding me of him. And since Halloween was right around the corner, I decided to try and create this with a spooky asthetic!

I had also started thinkering with the tools I had in Davinci Resolved and finally figured out how to make my videos 60fps! Which is a huge upgrade for me since now I can properly sync actions!

Having to get all the sound effects at the end was troublesome:

Although I wanted this Image Animation released for Halloween. I ended up releasing it a few days later, because of my lack of work

I remember showing this Image Animation to Crashie204 on a VC call when it released. And I remember her being soo scared of it for some reason, someone who was in the call even covered their eyes because they thought a jumpscare was about to happen. (Well there is, it's just not that scary)

Trivia

Red and Blue

Commentary

This is my second Scratch animutation that I made, and actually the first one where the full idea isn't by me. My cousin found this weird song and asked me to use it for this animation. Which I then got to work on!

Characters

Behind the Scenes

My cousin wanted this particular song for the IA. He suggested having a Smosh cameo which inspired me to implement Ghetto Smosh (Yes it is them specifically), and also wanted Sans blow up the sun (I ended up using Papyrus instead because I wanted to use Sans for another IA)

This is the time where I started work on my animutation engine. Using PenguinMod, I was able to use their start sound (sound) at (number) seconds block to skip to a certain part of the song. The hardest part with making a Scratch animutation was having to start all the way at the beginning just to test out a particular section. But now I have completely bypassed that, making things much more easier for me!

Little did I know. This would be the building blocks for making Foo-La-La! Revisioned. But that will be for later >->

Trivia

Rush Hour

Commentary

Rush Hour is an "interesting" Image Animation. I wanted to take a break from working on Foo-La-La! Revisioned. So I went on a small sidequest to make this Image Animation

Characters

I don't really want to mention every single character here because of the nature of this Image Animation. So I will only talk about the ones that are interesting enough to be mentioned

Behind the Scenes

The song itself came from 2 and a half hours of MIDI by Neil Cicierega. It was the shortest song I had heard of made by Neil Cicierega at the time, so I decided to create a very short Image Animation out of it

Crashie204 was streaming at the time of creating this animation ao I decided to RUSH this animation before she finishes!

Trivia

Foo-La-La! Revisioned

Commentary

Easily my best Animutation / Image Animation by far

Foo-La-La! Revisioned is a remaster of an animutation called "Foo-La-La!" for its 20th anniversary. Foo-La-La! was considered to be one of the worst animutations ever made, with a complexity rating of -10 (and you know I love complex animutations). I actually really love the song that was used for this animutation (Dandelion by RIP Slyme), so I decided to create a remaster in Scratch

Characters

Behind the Scenes

Foo-La-La! was a really old animutation that was considered to be one of the worst ones ever made. Although I do agree with the sentiment, I absolutely loved the song used and felt that it really had the potential for something even greater. Which is why I came along and decided to try and create a sort of remaster for the animutation

I started my first W.I.P project at December 2023. But I realized that I did not have the proper knowledge to embark on such a quest, and scrapped it for the time being until I felt prepared enough for it

It wasn't until I finished Red & Blue when I finally made the decision to work on Foo-La-La! Revisioned at arond February-ish. Though I would make it known by announcing it on an update on March 2024

Progress on Foo-La-La! Revisioned is like an exponential curve. During the early months, I wasn't taking the project seriously and just did a few scenes before ignoring it. But as the 20th anniversary crept closer, I started to take it a lot more seriously and focused more hours into it. The 20th anniversary was the only reason this animutation was released in the first place

I knew I would use a lot of characters for this animutation, but I had no idea which ones I wanted to use specifically. Stuff like Undertale Yellow and some more recent events were handed to me whilst I was developing the animutation, but I also had to dig deep into my memories to find old characters I've known about for countless years (Such as Toby and Tarma)

The preloader was something that I also developed for the animutation. In fact, the idea of adding a preloader for a Scratch animutation was unheard of at the time. Since I knew how to create a functional loading screen, as well as the sheer complexity my animutation was about to be. I figured I would go on a short sidequest to try and develop a preloader for my animutation. Which you can see right here!

Once the final months started to roll around, I decided to log my progress so that I knew just how fast I was going. Which is probably the best thing that happened to me, since it helped motivate me to try and push this thing further and further to completion. I realized I wasn't even halfway complete with the animutation, and it was already September! Which was a sign that I should take this much more seriously now

It got to the point where I started working on the animutation daily. I would dedicate a portion of my time to getting a scene or two finished, and have it logged so I could feel satisfied whenever I saw the "completed" number go up. By October 4th, I already gotten halfway

By the time November rolled around. I realized that my plan was actually working, and that I could realistically finish it in time! The last month was a repeat of what I did for the previous months, just continuously work on the project unless I was finished

Although I previously felt alone and helpless in this strange little world. I had gotten used to this place and the people around it. I don't think I will escape from this place, but I don't think I care about that anymore

I would end up finishing my animutation at December 16th, one day before the anniversary. At the time, I felt overwhelming happiness. I had spent the entire year working on this animutation, and I actually finished it. I would spend the final day working on the page on my website. As well as dealing with the scratch port

Afterthought

Even though this took an entire year to create. I LOVE the final result! It's everything I dreamed of making, and encapsulates the beauty of how I perceive both my Image Animations and the animutation genre as a whole

But as much as I love it. It's also the reason why I stopped finding the exact same love I had for my Image Animation series. For what it's worth, I just feel extremely demotivated whenever I want to try and create another Image Animation. Which is probably why the series stopped shortly after

I joked about creating a continuation with the song "Nettaiya". But the truth is, I really don't feel like I want to continue something like this anymore. I feel like I have given a proper finale to my scratch animutations

If one day, someome watches Foo-La-La! Revisioned, and gets inspired enough to create their own animutation. I would gladly watch it! I have seen a remix of another animutation with a few characters from Red & Blue, which is the closest I have gotten to something like that

A Frosty Cold Night

Commentary

A commentary for this IA also exists

A christmas special and the finale for my Image Animation Series. This ties off all the loose ends I had from my previous IAs, whilst also being a pretty fun watch!

Characters

Behind the Scenes

This Image Animation was inspired by a meme I saw on reddit which used the same song. As soon as I saw it, I immediately went to work creating this Image Animation

The Image Animation was never meant to be Christmas themed. I was just soo troubled by Foo-La-La! Revisioned that it kept being pushed aside until I finally finished working on Foo-La-La! Revisioned on December 17. That was when I decided to work on Frost Moon

This was also when I started incorporating Vector traces of some characters because some of the extracted sprites online are too low quality

Trivia

Miscellaneous Image Animations

Bingus ENDLESS Dance

Commentary

This Image Animation is inspired by an edit I made a whilst back which replaced the Bingus dancing song with Party in my Hard Drive

Characters

Behind the Scenes

This was one of the first things I made as soon as I found a fix to my Davinci Resolve (Since it kept lagging for some reason)

This is also meant to be a lesser version of a planned Image Animation I wanted to make in the future. Similar to Hot Lava and EXTREMELY HOT LAVA!!! (See - Scrapped Content - for more info)

Preloader Test

This is literally just the preloader for Foo-La-La! Revisioned, but it's own thing. Is there really anything else I should say about it?

Trivia

Upcoming Image Animations (That realistically aren't scrapped yet)

There are still a few Image Animations that I really want to complete, a lot of them actually being somewhat finished and may be posted in the future eventually! (Sorted by most likely to actually release)

Untitled-3 (Adobe Animate)

An animation made to test the waters for Adobe Animate. This is honestly the exact same as Preloader Test except with characters from both worlds

This animation is literally complete. I just have to find a way to display it on my website whilst still being interactable (Since that's where all the magic is)

Bingus and her Space Adventures (Davinci Resolve)

Originally meant to be the fourth animation release. But that got scrapped and rotted away

I swear I will release it. It's 90% complete right now

Thin Ice (Adobe Animate)

Goofy animutation I really wanted to create. But couldn't because of conflicting schedules

It's still heavy in production. I won't make any promises, but I wish I can release it

Lore

Did you even know that my animutations had any lore? Pretty much since Erika, I had been developing a somewhat comprehensive story to my series to keep everything in shape

Both my Scratch Animutations and Davinci Resolve Image Animations are set in an entirely separate dimension

The main thing that comes from this is that characters that appear in my Davinci Resolve Image Animations do not exist in my Scratch Animutations, and vice versa

Because of this method of thinking. I would be really careful as to which characters I should put in my Image Animations / Animutations. I considered Image Animations to be the "better" series, which is why a lot of my favorite characters are in Davinci Resolve

The only exception to this rule is Boykisser, who is allowed in both universes (and yes he is aware that he is in both universes)

I made this up before adding Scratch Cat in Kleptospira. Because of this oversight, I decided to keep it and mention it in A Frosty Cold Night where Scratch Cat references the song used for Foo-La-La! Revisioned. He ended up in the wrong dimension!

Though. I actually broke this rule by including Eric Wu in Rush Hour, when he was meant to be in Foo-La-La! Revisioned. That wasn't intentional, and I feel bad for only noticing that whilst creating this retrospective

You might also say that Crashie204 being in the credits of Foo-La-La! Revisoned breaks the rule. But I don't count that

Davinci Resolve Specific Lore

"The Fun Gang" represents Bingus, Laura, and The Cat. There are just a bunch of people who I thought would go hard as a group back in Bingus and my Everlasting Sanity. Which is why they are all featured in the music scene

The Fun Gang mainly consists of one character. Though I like the idea of a fourth character who isn't truly decided. Some notable "Fourth members" include

Laura got cursed by one of the Japanese Goblins back in Bingus and my Everlasting Sanity, causing her to be enraged whenever she sees a human. I really wanted the series to somewhat revolve around it

Scratch Specific Lore

A lot of the Scratch lore revolved around Chujin. It started with him suddenly appearing one day in "The pearly gates of this... hell", which is referring to the Scratch dimension

He would soon be found by Boykisser and escorted back into the main house where Foo-La-La! Revisioned takes place. He tries to adjust himself into this new society, but still plans to try and somehow leave this place

I like the idea that Chujin would show up to tease an upcoming Scratch Animutation (Example: I wanted Nettaiya to be about burning the world, Chujin would talk about how things suddenly got hotter in Foo-La-La! Revisioned)

I wanted Boykisser to actually be a lot more powerful / clever than he looks. I just love the idea of a gay furry being a huge plot device purely for the comedic effect it would give

Adobe Animate Specific Lore

Whilst I was still working on implementing Adobe Animate. I had the idea that Adobe Animate animations would be the only time where I could use characters from both Davinci Resolve and Scratch. I think of it as like "The Middleground"

This is also where I would showcase new upcoming characters that had never been used by both universes before

This is also where I would've showcased the "Gods" of the Image Animation series. Which are the dream characters from Night in the Woods. My idea for these guys was that they are the personification of the author of Image Animations (A.K.A me). And that they are the ones that create the events for all the Image Animations / Animutations

Scrapped Content

I had A LOT of plans for my Image Animations, but I knew it would be unrealistic to try and do every single one of these. Which is why a lot of them got scrapped

Image Animations

Laura's Strangest Dream - I Want To Wake Up

The idea for this Image Animation was that it involved around Laura experiencing the strangest dream she has ever had. This was one of the earliest ideas I had for an Image Animation, before I even finished Kleptospira

SPIDERS! - Antispider

The gimmick for this Image Animation was that it primarily used spider characters. Which made me realize the lack thereof

This was one of the few Image Animations to make it out of concept and into Davinci Resolve! (Though it appears I might've broken it accidentally by loading it in a very recent Davinci Resolve version)

High Voltage - Zero Gravity

This was originally meant to be for the United Nations event where I had to make a german related song!

I thought of the first few seconds, and then immediately ran out of ideas!

Bingus EVERLASTING Dance - El Disco Malvado De Muerty (Deporitaz)

Not to be confused with Bingus ENDLESS Dance

This IA was intended to be a throwback to Bingus and my Everlasting Sanity. Containing every character I had added since then

This is also a more hyper version of Bingus ENDLESS Dance. By adding more character interactions and such

Laura vs Sans - Steam Powered Lazerbeam

Whilst this was still considered a series, I had plans to create 3 seasons for the series. This was meant to the season 1 finale

This animutation is about how Sans is (for some reason) better than Laura (and the fun gang) in a music contest. Laura gets pissed and decides to create a really good guitar via a montage. Laura plays the first few notes, only for one of the strings to immediately break. Which causes her to lash out and attack Sans with the guitar. Playtime watches this in a sad expression, which distracts and confuses Laura. Before Sans Gaster Blaster's Laura and fades into a white screen. The scene ends with a zoom-in on Bingus's face

This Image Animation actually has a bit of a backstory. It was inspired by a dream I had with a very similar premise. It was an undertale AMV with Sans and Laura fighting against each other in the corridor. It was supported with a Stronger Than You cover with both characters singing (though I long forgotten what happens). At around the time where the song ends, Playtime shows up which confuses Laura, Sans then gets the advantage and successfully kills Laura. There is a lot more that happens in my dream, but I am just simplifying it for the retrospective

This is another Image Animation to make it into Davinci Resolve. And I actually worked on a barebones intro!

unnamed season 2 starter - The Murrayless Murray Mix

Just like with Laura vs Sans. This was when

The video itself is very similar to Hot Lava, with a bunch of animated characters and such. I also wanted Bingus to not be featured here due to special reasons I admittedly forgot

Heaven - Seizures in the Sun

This is a bit of a more special Image Animation. Seizures in the Sun is my favorite Deporitaz song, and I really wanted to create something special for whenever I try to create an Image Animation for it

The video itself is very similar to Hot Lava, with a bunch of animated characters and such. I also wanted Bingus to not be featured here due to special reasons I admittedly forgot

The outro would be Jesus Christ opening the pearly gates of heaven and having every single character enter in a very cool montage. Except for Aimkid's White Wolf who is too distracted dancing, and when they do realize, it's already too late because Heaven is full!

EXTREMELY HOT LAVA!!! - Molten Lava 2000

Meant to be the even more hyperactive version of Hot Lava. The scenes are very similar to Hot Lava but with even more characters than before

During the break, Filibuster from The Battle Cats shows up and tries to destroy the party. But because of his really slow attack speed, it takes a while before he becomes a threat

He soon realizes this, so he instead absorbs all the characters to speed up his attack. That is when Bingus shows up and just bonks him, instantly killing him

Character Machine - Attention

I was still hard at work trying to create the lore for my Image Animations. My first initial idea was that all the characters were created using a machine

The idea for this IA was that the machine was starting to become a lot more productive than usual. Pumping out a lot of new characters to use for this animutation specifically

This also had a few gimmicks. Such as only being able to use the same character twice.

Bingus and her Underwater Adventures - Untitled (Deporitaz)

Almost similar to Bingus and her Space Adventures, but mostly without any dialogue. It involved Bingus aboarding the yellow submarine and visiting a lot of cool underwater places before crashing her submarine at the end

Guitar Craze - Binary (Deporitaz)

This was originally meant to be the sixth IA for Season 1. The gimmick was that it involved a rotating cast of non repeated characters, similar to Attention

Fandrew's new guitar - Cheezy as Cheez

Meant for the second season. Was meant to be all about Fandrew and his newest guitar

Odd Sense of Nostalgia - Please Don't Recycle

This was meant to be another Laura-centric Image Animation. It was all about how much Laura misses her old world (AEwVS), and how alone and isolated she feels in the Image Animation world

It would eventually devolve into the main villain revealing themselves to be the Lemon Demon (As shown from Hyakugojyuuichi 2003)

unnamed season 3 starter - Monkey Brain Soup for the Soul

This would've mainly involved Bingus, The Cat, Cole Brew, and Jevil doing whatever goofy stuff until the pirate from Bonnie's Bakery shows up as the protagonist for the IA and tries to fight them because they stole his cannon off-camera. The gang would eventually use the cannon against him causing his defeat

untitled finale - Elsewhere (Lemon Demon)

This was my original plan for an ending to my Image Animations. It would involve the fun gang destroying the Lemon Demon, with all the characters that I had used up to that point helping them to defeat him

Some notable characters include

untitled laura finale - MoreSynthPop (Lemon Demon)

This is something I still think about even to this day. I really love the ideal character that I given to Laura, and I really wanted to give her a proper sendoff for my Image Animations.

It involves God meeting with the fun gang, and him asking Laura in particular what she wants. She then talks about how she truly wants to return back home to the AEwVS universe. God looks down and opens a door revealing a doorway to a new world, she says one last goodbye to the fun gang before finally leaving to go back to where she came from

This is where the actual song starts. She spawns back and is immediately greeted with a beautiful hill near the horizon. But no Infinity School (The place where she comes from). The animation revolves around her trying to find the school, whilst animals of different species willingly help her out

During the climax, the time has turned to night, and she still feels lost and confused. So as a last ditch effort, she calls out to God and vents out her frustrations, asking him why she hasn't found her home yet

After her vent, she looks back at all the animals who all motion their heads to look up. She sees that God responded by summoning a meteor shower at the sky, which is flowing to the direction she should go. The animals that she had accumulated react by rushing towers the direction of the meteors, in which Laura soon follows after. This scene was inspired by my first playthrough of Voices of the Void, in which the 1st day is guaranteed to show a Meteor Shower

After a while of running. She finally sees Infinity School in the horizon. She looks back at the animals she has accumulated and they all motion her to return to where she belongs. Afterwhich, she proceeds to run, run as fast as she ever could. She is finally soo happy to see the schoolhouse that she begins to cry whilst doing so. I don't think I could ever properly explain how she feels

The outro involves her finally entering the schoolhouse, with the rest of the characters looking back at her with happiness in their eyes. From their perspective, she had been gone for a really long time. And for her to suddenly show up at the front door would be unbelievable. I actually don't know how they would truly react to something like that

This was planned to be the "true" finale for Image Animations. As I wanted this to be the final end for Laura (Which means she won't be coming back), as well as a representation of me and how I feel with my Image Animation series

I'm sorry if this just became rambling. This song is one of my favorite Lemon Demon songs of all time, and I really just wanted to finally put this out of my head and into the world. Even if it's just a simple idea

(Scratch) unnamed nettaiya animutation - Nettaiya (Rip Slyme)

As mentioned from one of my Foo-La-La! Revisioned updates. My idea for this animutation was that a new set of characters has gotten orders from the devil himself to turn the scratch world into a hellish landscape

(Scratch) Archer's plans to Overthrow the Government - Jabberwocky (Cojum Dip)

Something I really wished I could do. My idea for this animutation was that Archer (from Supernatural Hijinks) was against the devil's wishes and instead plans to overthrow him by vandalizing a random statue. Which turns into Freddy Fazbear for some reason (this is inspired by a meme I saw)

(Scratch) untitled alternative for archer - AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!! (Deporitaz)

This is a lore-less alternative of the animutation above where everything plays out like a normal animutation

(Scratch) untitled one animutation - One (Rip Slyme)

This mainly shows the other side of the coin for hating the devil. The VOTV Mannequins have formed a secret mafia society. They know that they are unable to defeat the devil, but that doesn't matter to them anymore since they know the world is going to end regardless of if the government falls. So they spend their time hanging out and drinking beer and stuff

(Scratch) Hell - Smells like Teen Spirit (Kurt C- Actually, you already know who made this)

This is essentially the Scratch equivalent to "Heaven". It would've contained every single character I had used up to that point, and would've been a final conclusion to my Scratch animutations

Archer's army as well as the mannequins have also teamed up to try and stop the devil, but it's too late as the animutation ends with the devil destroying the Colin Mochrie sun causing the entire project to turn black

I also had the idea that for the outro, it would be the fun gang showing up on frame, looking at their surroundings, and Bingus announcing that "This would be the best place to call Home!". Which would make the Scratch animutations a prequel of the Davinci Resolve Image Animations. To fit Boykisser in the lore, I guess he survived the explosion

Since I have nowhere to mention this. The devil is specifically the Storyteller devil

(Adobe Animate) The Middleground - How Many Times (Deporitaz)

This animation would've been the introduction to how the rules for Adobe Animate would've worked. It mainly contained characters that hadn't been used before, like Martlet, Ted McDoodles (from 60 Seconds!), Vincent (from Vincent: The Secret of Myers), and some other characters I long forgotten about

(Adobe Animate) untitled race animutation - Reverse Mullet (Cojum Dip)

The idea for this animation was that a bunch of characters from both Scratch and Davinci Resolve are in a race against each other, and a bunch of other goofy stuff happens as well

This is yet another animutation that I really wish I could do, because the song just fits in the context of an animutation. Of I wish I could visit an alternate universe just so I can see what this animutation would look like

If you are curious, the race contestants are as follows

There are meant to be eight in total, but I couldn't think of the last two

(Adobe Animate) untitled party - Bendy Chapter 3 Song (Fandroid)

I chose this song in particular because I got reminded of the time when Fandroid hosted an event where fans could comment on what the lyrics for the song should be, and he chose the ones that worked well together and made this absolute jamful experience! I thought it would also kinda fit well in my animation (and also because I liked the song a lot)

It's mainly just a bunch of unused characters having a party in the middleground. Hence the name, some notable characters who sing the lyrics for this song are

For the line "This machine has grown soo lonely". I interpreted as a callback to the Character Machine I thought about earlier, and it suddenly bouncing back with activity. Hence the reason for the party

I also thought of some mondegreens for this song, since I refused to search for the lyrics. Most notably: "You're a stack of yarn!"

There are probably a lot more scrapped animutations, but I really don't remember at this point

look at this loser above me
