Heeya buddies! It's me, Ggando12. The person who makes goofy animutations in 2023-2025 ! If you are reading this, then this page is for the 2nd anniversary for Image Animations! I don't really have a rap song planned like what Neil did with his Animutations, but I have this really long retrospective where I go in-depth with everything I made for my Image Animations!
Before Image Animations
Long before I even started making Image Animations. I would always make these music videos in my head of whatever song I was listening to at the time. I don't remember how it started, but my earliest memories were in 2020 when I would listen to Eminem, Tally Hall, Hatsune Miku, or whatever other song / artist I was exposed to at the time. And I would just walk around with a music video idea forming on my head. For Eminem in particular, I would imagine a SCP whose anomaly was that it would alter the world around it as if a music video is currently happening (you know how music videos are often soo darn weird? If you don't know what I mean, look up the music video for Counting Stars, it's basically like that). Now that I think about it, that's a fire SCP idea! That has to have existed already, right?
Around early 2023. I was falling down a rabbit hole of early Neil Cicierega such as Deporitaz and Animutations. I remember finding this website called "AlbinoBlackSheep" which contains an entire category for animutations! Which is pretty much where I found a ton of NC Animutations. There was one animutation called "Earth vs. Funk" which I really enjoyed and replayed a buncha times! It was easily my favorite NC animutation and I always watched it whenever I had the chance to!
As for Deporitaz, I don't even remember why I decided to listen to it. I guess I had just gotten bored with Lemon Demon and decided to try out Neil's older stuff. Despite what everyone says, I actually really like Deporitaz! Just hearing all the bips and bops ringing on my ears makes for a fun time! I especially like Microwave This CD with its banging songs like Molten Lava 2000, Seizures in the Sun, Untitled, and Cheezy as Cheez
Something you might not think about when you think of Image Animations is Bonnie's Bakery! Despite the game starting in 2022, I never actually had much care for the game until the Fresh Ingredients DLC came along in early 2023, which is when my fixation for Bonnie's Bakery peaked. I would play the CRAP out of the game, finding all the small secrets and glitches and improving the very small fandom wiki for the game. I would use AssetStudio to extract all the sprites and assets to find secrets much more easily! I don't remember if I found anything important, but I did save the Bingus escape cutscene!
All four of these things were the reason why I made Image Animations, as they all fit together in my head like a puzzle piece! It wouldn't take long until I'd make my first Image Animation!
The first Image Animation I ever made! My idea for making this came from my love for Deporitaz, Animutations, and Bonnie's Bakery! As well as my attempt to try and use Davinci Resolve
0:00-0:11 - Gosh. It's been two years and this intro still gets me pumped up! I guess that's the magic of Circa 2000 (the album the song is in). For what it's worth, I think my intro does the song well!
0:11-0:13 - This is where Laura gets possessed by the demon goblins! Did you even know that Laura was possessed in Image Animations? If you didn't, that's my fault for not mentioning it a lot
0:17-0:19 - I am in love with that Azazel sprite. It's the exact image I need for everything I make regarding Image Animations
0:21-0:23 - I was a dumb kid when I made this Image Animations (I still am). So I had no idea if putting the queen's head on The Cat's body was a good thing
0:23-0:24 - Mattshea is a bit of a weird youtuber looking back. I remember he made videos on House Party which I really didn't like a lot. So I guess this is me projecting my anger out towards him? Don't take this scene seriously, it's petty
0:24-0:26 - DAGames Baldi is still hilarious
0:30-0:32 - "Please Do Not The Cat" came from an old meme I saw on Reddit about this exact phrase. It was very stupid, I realized I had a cat in the animation and knew I had to use it
0:35-0:52 - This part was very fun to do! I liked the idea of a band forming with these 4 characters. So I took the discord emojis and edited those in with the characters so that it looks like they are playing the instruments and stuff. Laura playing the red guitar, The Cat playing the drums, Bonnie Head playing a saxophone. Pretty much exactly how I envisioned the characters when I made this Image Animations
0:52-1:09 - We cannot have an Image Animation without any conflict (even though this is the only IA with conflict), so I made the evil Japanese Goblin challenge the Bonnie Head to a duel. Unfortunately for him, he brought a knife to a magic spoon fight
1:11-1:19 - And then the Bonnie Head used her awesome powerful spoon to destroy the Japanese Goblin! Despite this being my first Image Animation, it's a lot better than the ones I would make later on
1:19-1:31 - And of course. I would end it with a slow zoom in of Azazel! Because what the heck was that Image Animation?
Characters
Laura - Cool lady! I really liked AEwVS and this character in particular. Dunno why, I just think she's cool!
Bonnie Head - The detatched head of Bonnie. She is more powerful than her full counterpart (OFFICIAL LORE!!)
Yingus / recolored bingus variant - My cousin made this one. My headcanon is that this character is Ukranian
The Cat - I don't remember exactly why I chose her. But she just looked cool
Bingus - The titular character! She represents Bingus in the title!
Japanese Goblin - Very scary evil fella. I remember when I was young, I saw the emoji and I was very scared of it. I would even have trouble falling asleep cause of it (though I still have trouble falling asleep with other stuff)
Mattshea - I think it was my cousin's idea to put him in the animation. I don't really have a honest opinion with the guy, I just think he's cool
Realistic Roblox Head - Another character my cousin wanted to add in
Wheel Cat - Around this time. I was in Into The Future Chapter 3 and wanted a good cat to deal with the alien enemies. I got help from one of my friends and they said to use Wheel Cat which dealt massive damage to aliens. They looked goofy so I added them in my animation!
Azazel - How everyone reacts after watching my Image Animations. She represents My Ever Lasting Sanity in the title
Sparky - I actually really like Sparky a lot! Though I didn't really have much to do with him whilst making this animation, so I just used his hurt sprite from Patches' Infurno!
Two guys - Another image my cousin wanted to add in. I don't actually know the context of this image
Queen of Elizabeth - Looking back. I don't think it was a good idea putting her in this image animation. Especially with how I used her
DAGames Baldi - Around this time. Me and my cousin watched a video by Chazington about fan songs and he mentions DAGames baldi and we immediately got hooked. My cousin got a screenshot of him twerking and I used it in my animation
Laura. But as a cat? - Uhhhh. I don't remember my exact reasoning for why I used the cat version. I guess she looked cute?
Myself - That is me eating food! You can see the unedited version in Crashie204s Discord server!
Ugly Roblox Lady - Another character my cousin wanted to add in
Behind the Scenes
Even before I worked on BamES. I've had a ton of ideas for Deporitaz animations, especially with Milkshake City Here We Come. I initially had Felix Munch from Purrfect Apawcalypse instead of Bingus as the main focus. I don't remember the exact cast listing, but it may have had Susie from Deltarune or Buff Natsuke from DDLC?? It even had OCs from my head, but I am bad at character art so I scrapped that idea. Felix Munch didn't have a crouch animation / gif, but Bingus did! So I used her instead
My initial idea for making Bingus and my Everlasting Sanity was that I wanted to practice using Davinci Resolve. I previously used it to edit my Crystal Seeker speedrun, but it was mainly for basic cuts. So using it for my Image Animations would be an interesting combination
My other idea of making this Image Animation came from my love for Animutations, so I made this as a sort of "love letter" to the genre and everything else I love. You'll be seeing more love letters to animutations the more we delve deeper, with each entry being a lot more love letter-y than the last
The name itself came from a mix of my favorite character at the time (Bingus) and my lack of sanity after finishing the project. I didn't really had a final name for the animation whilst making it
The way I get the character images for my animations is fairly tricky. If I own the game that the character are from, I could just retrieve them from the game files. If I couldn't do that, or didn't own the game. I'd just search fandom for the character images. However, at the time, I didn't know how to retrieve the raw files from the wiki. So I ended up getting a webp file. So what I had to do was head onto freeconvert.com and convert the file into a png so that I can use it.
You may notice that the Cat gif is quite buggy. That is because I tried doing the same procedure, but it seems that gifs had a few problems and ended with the white background (previously transparent). Speaking of gifs, Davinci Resolve didn't support gifs around this time. So I had to convert them to mp4 which created this buggy effect
I made the first 15 seconds in day 1 as a demo and showcased it to my friends. The demo is a lot different from the final version. It included an unused character which looked similar to Bingus but with a moustache. The backstory for moustached bingus (and the ukrainian bingus) is that some time before the creation of this image animation, I was joking around with my cousin about Bingus' secret cousin. I would then open up Microsoft Paint and open up the Bingus sprite, and then I drew a crude looking moustache and then saved it. I recall giving it a goofy name, but I forgot what the name was. My cousin wanted to do something similar so he opened up the Bingus sprite and then changed the clothes to blue and the hair yellow. He then gave it a name, but I kinda forgot that as well. I asked him about it recently and he said that Ukranian Bingus might be named 'Yingus'. In the demo version, the other bingus versions had a white background. I decided I wanted to recreate Yingus in Paint dot net so that I could have a transparent background. I didn't do the same to moustache bingus, probably because two bingus' is already enough. RIP Moustached Bingus
After I finished making the first demo, I sent it to Crashie204 and my cousin for feedback. I'd also later send a teaser image to Crashie204 during the second day. Which is the only few pre-release things I recall making for this Image Animation
Speaking of the second day. It was alot different compared to the first. I was hard at work for a Monke Game fangame and I wanted an excuse to slack off, so I went into Davinci Resolve and decided to finish the entire animation, which took the entire second day. My father (and a few other people) insisted that I should make it public, but I decided against it because of how different it is compared to everything else. I look back on that day every time, and I feel like I made the right choice!
Trivia
There was meant to be an alternative intro. During the part where the four different characters were shown, I had an alternate version where the characters slide from Right to Left. And at the fourth character, I had the two pointing wojaks show up from the bottom
You may notice that some parts of the song got cut out. I decided to cut them out cause of time constraints (even though there wasn't a time limit involved). But I would be lying if I said I didn't plan for anything during those parts. At 1:40-1:48. I was planning on using real life rocket launch footage and replacing the rocket with Bingus so that it looks like she is flying. I got inspired by the ren'py tutorial to add that in, but I never did at the end
The second IA that I worked on! I have no idea what "Kleptospira" actually means. I might've just invented a new word, though I like to interpret it as being really green. Hence the character choice
0:27-0:33 - My headcanon was that Laura is a mood guitarist so I reused the Laura guitar image from the previous IA into this
0:39-0:42 - This Dancing Yoda gif is hilarious. In fact, Crashie204 always seems to have all the goofiest gifs. So I decided to download them and use them for this Image Animation
0:42-0:45 - You may notice a bit of weird video frames here and there. I never really found a way to fix them
0:45-0:48 - For this Image Animation's gimmick. Two of the same gifs are shown after the other
0:48-0:51 - I tried making a character move around a circle without changing their rotation. This is the result
0:57-1:14 - Around this point. Crashie204 commented that this looks like she is being hypnotized. She couldn't be any more correct
1:09-1:14 - Everyone is being sad now ;-;. Laura is really good at moody guitar!
1:15-1:18 - We NEED to keep track of this info! It will be important in the future! (not really)
1:24 - For Laura's curse. I made it into a gimmick that she turns into a demon whenever her and a human are in the same screen. This is based on her opinion with humans in AEwVS, in which she desperately hates them
1:30-1:33 - This is a placeholder which I got lazy to change
1:36-1:39 - Believe it or not, this Image Animation has a minor story. Miles Morales is running away from the ugly grandma so that he doesn't get beaten up or something. That's it
1:39-1:51 - I am not sure where they are going. But it better be some place nice!
1:51-2:03 - (OMG LORE!? -Crashie204). But in all seriousness. I really just made this cause I wanted something cool or cryptic to happen during this specific part of the song
2:06-2:09 - These two cats aren't changing directions. They are actually switching positions. It's hard to tell because there really isn't any difference between the two actions
2:12-2:15 - I just ran out of ideas at this point
2:18-2:21 - Miles wasn't fast enough to outspeed the grandma. So she caught up to him and started beating him up! And it seems like some onlookers are watching the fight unfold!
2:27-3:09 - And then we get to the outro. Which is admittedly a lot longer than I wanted it to be. My intentions for this part was for it to iterate through the entire cast of the Image Animation. If you weren't hyptonized already, well you sure are now!
3:09-3:15 - Hello Cat! You missed out on the entire Image Animation!
3:15-3:19 - That is once again a real photo of me! I am pretty sure it was the same day as well, or at least the same vacation!
Characters
Unused Green Boss - He was the first person who I thought of when I was first creating the IA. And the person I mentioned fitting with the word 'Kleptospira'
Ugly Grandma - She has beef with Miles Morales throughout the video
Bonnie Head - Bouncin' around and goofin'
Crashie Surprised Emote - Given to me by Crashie herself! Apparently, she said that it looked slanted. Which I didn't notice until she mentioned it herself
Kaoluga - Me and my cousin thought he was very funny. He also has a big head! Must be smart!
Miles Morales - The victim of the Ugly Grandmas beatings!
Baldi - Oh Oh Oh hi there!
Bingus - Still doing that goofy dance that she always does
Scratch Cat - Tried doing the same thing that Bonnie did to gain more powers. Unsure if it actually worked or not
Crashie Cool Emote - She is like Justice from Helltaker. Always looking really cool!
Queen of Elizabeth - Once again. I feel like I shouldn't be using her in my IAs. Maybe it's a curse that her ghost self has given me?
Laura - Felt moody today. Decided to bust out her guitar to cope
Crashie Cry Emote - Crying at how beautiful Laura's guitar sounds
Sad Emoji - Had a bad day lately. Just wanted to came by and see the show unfold
Dancing Baby Yoda - Crashie kept using this emote all the time and I thought it looked hilarious!
Bouncing Frog - Kinda funny how this gif ended up being used on my website front page!
Selmers Doodle (Secret Character!) - It's SELMERS! Or at least it's a doodle by Mae. I think it's kinda funny
WOW Person! - They is surprised at all the goofy stuff unfolding right now!
The Cat - I wonder what she was doing that caused her to be late?
Myself - Chugging down on that beer! (Well not really)
Behind the Scenes
Right after working on BamES. I started working on yet another Image Animation because summer vacation was starting to end and my cousin was starting to leave, and so I made this as quickly as possible so that they can see it!
Around the time, Damn Skippy got remastered. And it featured an entirely new tracklisting! The song that really stuck with me was Bottom Line. I immediately knew I had to turn that song into an Image Animation
The song itself is four minutes long, which isn't really that ideal for my Image Animation. So I edited the song a bunch to remove a few segments. You can see this version of the song in the Kleptospira demo
I remember having a ton of ideas for names of Image Animations. Namely "Laura's Strangest Dream", "SPIDERS!", "Hidden Mystery", and "Kleptospira". This Image Animation remained unnamed for a long time until I finished it and just gave it the "Kleptospira" name
Trivia
For some reason, I have a bugged video of a demo of this Image Animation in Discord
You can spot Selmers in Baldis head when he starts to run away from cursed Laura
If there is one Image Animation I would have to remaster, I would gladly take this one
This video is a lot more gimmicky than the rest. In that it only uses one character throughout the entire runtime. This is also one of the most comprehensible animations in my catalouge. You can show this to someone and they would easily comprehend it
0:22-0:33 - After Kleptospira. I had finally made a proper character circle! This circle had many different iterations during the creation of this IA, before I finally found a proper looping circle! I pride myself in this accomplishment soo much that I even referenced it in a secret message at 0:25
0:37-0:41 - I am quite disappointed at how ugly the Patches bouncing looked
1:02-1:10 - I actually really liked how I turned out! I showed Crashie204 this IA all the way back and she thought it was cool. If I were to change it, I would probably keep the Patches Circle because it looks like Patches killed the circle (My intention was that Patches killed the POV)
Characters
Patches Star - I was using the original Purrfect Apawcalypse sprites to make this Image Animation. This was the only sprite I had which only had Patches' head. I would've preferred if it was just the head
Staring Patches - Staring directly at the viewer! Ignoring the fourth wall! He looks very creepy 0-0
Licking Patches - "He shouldn't be licking his hand, it's unhygenic!" -Crashie204
Shocked Patches - He turns around a lot. I don't know why
Jumping Patches - Patches LOVES jumping!!
Knife Patches - Has killed a bunch of people in the past. Not afraid to kill more!
Behind the Scenes
The creation of this IA was due to a particular Tumblr Sexyman tournament going on which included Patches. I decided to create this to increase the mood of the people who voted for Patches. I never actually shared it to that much people so it became obscure. If you are wondering, Patches lost in the second bracket, idk to who though
Whilst creating this IA. My hard drive that I was previously using had crashed and it's contents were unaccessible. So I switched to a new one and had to basically start over. It's still collecting dust in my table, and I still desperately want it fixed
Trivia
In 0:25. You can find a secret text of me priding myself with the perfect circle. This is a reference to Kleptospira where I made a scuffed circle and pointed it out
To explain what this is all about. This was around the time when I got exposed to high complexity animutations (A Sticky Night Of Love, Wizard Power, Allosaurus.gif). And I loved the idea of being purely random and absurd that I would dedicate this Image Animation to trying to imitate those animutations
0:20-0:26 - This was one of the earliest scenes I had thought of when creating this Image Animation
0:28-0:29 - Unlike the Mattshea scene. I had no ill intentions on Cory here, I actually really like the guy!
0:33-0:52 - This was another section that I had thought of in my head. If you watch closely, you can see the characters slowly desync
0:52 - That is not how the mushroom works! It's meant to make you bigger!
0:58-1:04 - Another part here that I planned
1:30-1:33 - DAGames Baldi is just soo memeable
1:51-1:52 - The Bonnie Head has claimed another victim
2:13-2:15 - This part was pretty cool to make
2:18-2:30 - I didn't have an idea as to what I wanted to do here so I turned it into a race between my favorite characters. All of these are my headcanon
2:31-2:42 - And here is where I show off all the characters I used for this IA. If you know the previous version of this Image Animation. You know I had to update this section because I wasn't a huge fan of it originally
2:42-2:44 - I guess I had to make an outro, so I made it as goofy as possible (CoryXKenshin holding his hand up as a goodbye was unintentional, but I like it)
Characters
Bingus - Considering Image Animations revolve around her, it would be a curse to not have her included in something like this
Fandroid - The story behind getting this gif is very interesting. The original gif with the background came from the Fandroid youtube intro, but I got it from the Fandom wiki main page. It came with a background which I deleted manually using paintdotnet (it was very time consuming considering the amount of frames the gif had). I tried using remove.bg but it made things slower
White Wolf - This wolf came from the Modify animation that Aimkid made. As I said previously, it was one of the first things I thought of when I wanted to make an IA for this song
Nathan Barnatt - I recall an Inside the Mind youtube video about this guy, which is how I found out about him. His boneless dance is perfect for Image Animations!
CoryxKenshin - 🐐
Cole Brew - This guy is really chill. One of my comfort characters!
Bonnie Head - Using her power for EVIL! Yet nobody cares!
Evil Angry Cat - This character is a bit of a strange case where I don't know where they actually came from. I found it from a youtuber called "Regit" who used it for one of his thumbnails. I asked him about where it's from and he said it might've came from Aviivix. I checked their twitter but I genuinely couldn't find it
Dancing Baby Yoda - I loved this gif soo much I used it twice
Sad Chef - This character came from the lemondemon website. Just like Miles Morales from Kleptospira, she is currently being harassed by Will Smith Skibidi Toilet
Firey - I don't actually watch BFDI, so I have no idea what a Firey is
Smurf Cat - This is one of the rare cases where I used a popular meme at the time as a character. I actually forgot they were a meme and not something that manifested for my Image Animations
Ed + Duolingo - Around this time, I was learning German daily via Duolingo. I lost my 100+ day streak like 1 year ago now, and I don't plan on returning
Jacksepticeye - Trying to get this gif without a background was painful. Because the hat that Jack is wearing is the same color as the background. So I had to arbituarily set points for which is the hat and which is the background. But anyways, GLORY TO ARSTOTZKA
Ed Flint - Although I knew of this character, I never actually knew their name or even what they were meant to be (The original Hot Lava page called him a "Wolf with a Guitar"). I think he looked pretty hot, which is why I included him in the Image Animation
Pelones - This Pelo originated from the Pelones. If you look closely, you can see the green outlines on Sr Pelo. I got the image from a screen capture I did from a Pelones green screen video. There were probably better ways I could've done this, or even the full images online
Will Smith Skibidi Toilet - The posterboy for extremely stupid Image Animations. I hope nobody takes any trouble for me using an AI image for my IAs cause this guy is pretty much canon now
Heheheha kid - I remember this gif was one of the top results for searching up "Heheheha" on Tenor. I found it very stupid that I decided to include it in this Image Animation
Fandrew - He feels like he belongs here
Patches - Patches with a bomb is from a secret secret character from a FNAF fangame I worked on. And that idea was inspired from a youtube video I saw where Patches plants a bomb in your bedroom
Minion Gif - Found from Tenor whilst searching for dancing gifs. I really wanted to find a perfect loop gif of the Minion dancing. But couldn't
Homer Simpson - Before making this IA. This particular gif of Homer Simpson flossing had been in the back of my head for quite a while now. I found that there was only one Youtube video about this exact clip (which is surprising), so I turned it into a gif. You can find this gif on Tenor if you are wondering, I was the one who submitted it!e
DA Baldi - He wasn't invited. But is still here regardless
Fandrew + Nirvana Face - Fandrew decided he wanted to create a fandrew sized mannequin but with the Nirvana face. Bingus doesn't mind, so he is here to stay!
Soyjaks - They fit in any scenario
Behind the Scenes
Even before working on this Image Animation. I had already planned out a lot of segments on my head. Stuff like the Aimkid, Jacksepticeye, and DAGames Baldi segments were fully thought of
I was also planning on making a part two with Deporitaz's "Molten Lava 2000". Just like the song, it would've been a lot more chaotic than the original. But I never got around to doing it because of conflicting plans
Trivia
A lot of things were developing with the release of Hot Lava
I had started calling Image Animations "Jump's Absolutely Toisngoiselgniorsi Series" in reference to the incomprehensible word invented by the Melty Clown Studio team
Around this time, I was developing a system to categorize my Image Animation in terms of Absurdity and Complexity, similar to what was done with Animutations. Once again, heavily inspired by the complex animutations that were made
This was also the time where I started giving Image Animations "LEGENDARY" status. Which are Image Animations that I consider to be the peak of Image Animations
Hot Lava was never originally meant to be the 4th animation. I was working on "Bingus and her Space Adventures" at the time, until I realized that both Molten Lava and Molten Lava 2000 were the fourth song in their respective album. And so I decided to delay Bingus and her Space Adventures and worked on Hot Lava instead
Erika is a bit of a weird Image Animation. Because it's the first one I made in Scratch, and the one where it borders between being an Animutation and an Image Animation. And it also has vocals
This is also my most viewed animation, which I blame the nazis for
(So this commentary is going to be a lot more different from the other ones. Because the Youtube upload of this Image Animation got flagged. So instead, I will just talk about what happens in order of appearance without timestamps)
The idea of adding Boykisser as a secret is pretty stupid. But I wanted them to be included in an Image Animation and I figured I'd do it right now
Ironically enough. The Intro was one of the last things I made for this Image Animation. The Pigs with Trumpets took a while to remove the background for
At the same time. The part where the pig hides as the sky and the intro reveals itself is such an awesome intro! 2023 me is both really cringe and really talented!
Having Freddy Fazbear lipsync was REALLY hard. This was my first Image Animation I made in Scratch (sunbeam light show flower seed animation is not an Image Animation), and I didn't have an engine built up. So a lot of the work was done manually. Well I still do it manually, it's just a lot less complicated
I think it's hilarious how Deporitaz just increases in size. That was pretty funny
The Apple Cat scenes having no background is intentional, and looks really stupid
I admit that seeing DanTDM with that face reminded me of the Gaster Blaster. Thinking about that got me the idea of him using a laser blast to kill Freddy
Rest in Piece Freddy Fazbear.
Characters
Boykisser - Around this time I had discovered Boykisser. And now my life has changed drastically for the fifth time
Pigs with Trumpets - These guys are from one of the levels of A Dance of Fire and Ice. Taken by recording a playthrough of myself playing through the level and editing the image to only include the pigs. It was a meticulous process I will admit
Freddy Fazbear - Freddy Fazbear being in the Image Animation is soo stupidly hilarious I can't take it seriously
DanTDM - I got reminded of that one really stupid face that DanTDM made when he ate that bean. I also made this image for my cousin cause he wanted it
Deporitaz - I realized I had never included Neil Cicierega in my Image Animations, so in comes Deporitaz!
Chad GothamChess - My cousin showed this to me. Apparently, it's an edit from r/AnarchyChess
Apple Cat - At this point, it was a tradition to include a Battle Cats character in my Image Animations
Arisu - Yet another character who I don't know but added them in regardless. My cousin has a bunch more gifs of this person but I used this one in particular
Behind the Scenes
This Image Animation was made for a school halloween event where we had to wear a costume representing a country and we had to say some stupid line or something. I went with Germany since my father was learning German at the time. And I had the idea to create an Image Animation related to Germany.
I was originally planning on creating "High Voltage" from Lemon Demon's "Zero Gravity". But then realized I had no idea what to do with the song. So I asked one of my classmates to recommend me a German song to use for my Image Animation. They told me about "Erika" so now I had a chosen song!
I had also discovered the very small Animutation community in Scratch. I wanted to make my presence known so I decided to make Erika in Scratch!
This animation was originally meant to be longer with a different song that lasted 3 minutes. But after dealing with the first verse, I realized I had no idea what to do with the rest of the song. So I just used a shorter version which only extended to the first verse
Trivia
This is the first Image Animation to be made in Scratch
This IA was meant to be longer. But was scrapped due to time constraints and lack of ideas
When you play the animation for the first time, you can spot Boykisser for a few frames
If you click the stop button. A secret screen involving Deporitaz will show up
The Youtube upload for this IA was flagged and unavailable to view, making Scratch the only place you can watch the animation
This IA is my most viewed animation in the entire series
For the sake of this commentary, I will be calling Scratch Image Animations "Animutations". Since that is what they really are
This Image Animation has a very interesting gimmick to it. Throughout the animation, there are wingding symbols that show up. And you have to translate all of them before the end!
This also has a theme of the characters being related to Gaster (and bingus because she is always here)
0:00-0:03 - The first symbol is right here. It's pretty obvious and represents the letter "S"
0:04 - Bingus has nothing to do so she just idles in the vast emptiness of space
0:07-0:10 - Next symbol here which represents "T"
0:10-0:17 - If you look really closely at the middle of the screen. You can see Gaster
0:18-0:21 - Next symbol here which represents "O"
0:21-0:24 - Had an old alternate version of this shot. Maybe you can find it in the first demo?
0:24 - Next symbol here which represents "P". If you look really closely at the flash, you can find Gaster
0:30-0:32 - Next symbol here which represents "T". When I first made the snake circle, Davinci Resolve was lagging really badly, which slowed down the video playback when editing. What I saw was a normal speed circle, but when exporting, it turned out to be REALLY fast!
0:32-0:37 - If you look really closely at the bottom middle of the screen. You can see Gaster. He fades out after a while
0:39-0:46 - Next symbol here which represents "H"
0:44-0:46 - Stay away from me clam guy
0:49 - Next symbol here which represents "E"
0:50-0:56 - If you look closely at the middle of the screen, you can see Gaster
0:56 - Next symbol here which represents "V"
1:00-1:03 - I don't like the way this character turns
1:03 - Next symbol here which represents "I"
1:03-1:11 - This scene looks real hypnotizing! Not like I already did this in Hot Lava or anything
1:07-1:11 - Next symbol here which represents "D"
1:18-1:21 - At this point. I found out about the opacity property and decided to use it on Gaster
1:22-1:26 - Next symbol here which represents "E"
1:32 - If you look closely at the right snake guy when he goes in screen. You can see him slowly move to the right. I must've made a mistake with the X position somewhere
1:36-146 - I really love how this light thing turned out at the end. It's one of those moments when the final product looks exactly as you intended
1:37 - Next symbol here which represents "O"
1:41 - Another Gaster appearance when the light appears. Look closely
1:50-2:15 - This outro shows all the characters in the screen similar to Hot Lava. I noticed that the saxophone guy is rotating the wrong way, which is definitely not intentional!
2:15-2:29 - Gaster is here to collect your SOUL! Now would be a good time to decipher that message and figure out what to do! (There are also some secret commentary stuff related to Gaster that you cannot see unless you highlight over them)
2:15-2:25 - The text at the top translates to "NOW"
2:19-2:23 - Bingus shows up to warn you about that secret message you were supposed to look out for. This image is an edited version from a cutscene from the secret true ending in Bonnie's Bakery. Since the cutscene is an MP4, I had to take a screenshot of a particular frame and edit out the background
2:29-2:34 - The text at the top translates to "NOW"
Characters
Bingus - Despite not fitting well with the animation. I included her in regardless!
Goner Kid - Constantly worrying that he doesn't contribute much to the world!
Clam Guy - EXTREMELY Flirtatious. But pretty awkward. Is that an oxymoron? I'm not soo sure
Gaster Follower with a piece of Gaster - The piece of Gaster is more important than the actual guy. Since in this IA, the piece can talk!
Snake Follower - Mainly used as a circle since I love character circles!
Saxophone Follower Guy - He plays the saxophone really well. And that's it
Gaster - He lurks in the shadows striking you at the end. If you have not deciphered the secret message. Then it's too late for you!
Behind the Scenes
This Image Animation is based on Gaster because of the weird sounds that show up at the 0:23-0:32 reminding me of him. And since Halloween was right around the corner, I decided to try and create this with a spooky asthetic!
I had also started thinkering with the tools I had in Davinci Resolved and finally figured out how to make my videos 60fps! Which is a huge upgrade for me since now I can properly sync actions!
Having to get all the sound effects at the end was troublesome:
I don't remember where I found the Among Us death sound. Either from Youtube via external downloaders, MyInstants.com, or a decompile of Roblox Monke Game. All of these being equally likely
The Bonnie Death was ripped directly from Bonnie's Bakery. Though, I was originally planning on using one of the AEwVS death sounds. But I couldn't find what I wanted
The Rhythm Heaven DS gameover jingle was taken from a recording of me failing Built To Scale
Although I wanted this Image Animation released for Halloween. I ended up releasing it a few days later, because of my lack of work
I remember showing this Image Animation to Crashie204 on a VC call when it released. And I remember her being soo scared of it for some reason, someone who was in the call even covered their eyes because they thought a jumpscare was about to happen. (Well there is, it's just not that scary)
Trivia
This is the first Image Animation to be made in 60fps, compared to the other Image Animations made in Davinci Resolve which is 24fps (Scratch animutations are 30fps)
This was meant to be for Halloween. But I was unfortunately a few days off
Gaster makes a lot of appearances throughout the IA. I will admit, I did not know a lot of these appearances until I revisited the project file to confirm all appearances. There are probably a lot more that I am missing, because I hid them soo well
This is my second Scratch animutation that I made, and actually the first one where the full idea isn't by me. My cousin found this weird song and asked me to use it for this animation. Which I then got to work on!
0:04-0:05 - Once again another use for the character circle. The penguins used in the circle are the default sprite when you make a new project in Penguinmod. I decided to keep them in cause they're cool
0:06-0:09 - Foekoe here says something random depending on the FUN value on this animation. Since this is a youtube video, you can only see "RIP BOZO"
0:18-0:25 - This is the earliest screen I worked on when I first made this IA. It's also for testing a new "Offset List" system I have been working on, they basically act as the animation's "RAM" which stores values in a large list. Yes I know this makes it unnecessarily complicated, but I look cool using it
0:32-0:39 - The Penguin circles required a lot of setup to work. For context, each penguin is its own seperate being, and not all of them being an entire costume. So I had to put each penguin in a specific position relative to its "Circle Progression" as I like to call it. It's pretty complex math stuff. Here is the full code on how it's done if you are wondering
0:39-0:46 - Justice was a character that my cousin asked me to add in. I recall he even sent me fanart of her and papyrus. This has nothing to do with the IA I just wanted to mention it
0:46-1:00 - Couldn't think of any dialogue so pretend they are talking
1:00-1:16 - I don't know why they were fighting, but now they are at peace
1:16-1:28 - The title image I made in Paintdotnet. Which was really fun to do!
Ending Easter Egg - I had no idea what I wanted to do with this secret, this is pretty half assed. This is also the only time where you have to interact with the screen to continue the animation
Lag Easter Egg - Although there is no real problem with lag in the animutation. If the project detects that it has not moved to the next frame for 3 seconds, a large wormhole will destroy the entire animation (it actually doesn't, but it would be funny if it does)
Characters
Papyrus - Well I mean, Papyrus is pretty cool
Penguins - The penguins are the default sprite when you make a new project in Penguinmod. I decided to keep them in cause they're cool
Kung-Fu Cat - This guy sucked to import since there are a bunch of frames for this guy
Clown - Found him originally from Wizard Power!
Deporitaz - Deporitaz is once again here, because his red face is soo stupid
Foekoe - I don't actually know who Foekoe is. I just figured I'd use his Youtube PFP
Pou - I could've probably just googled the Pou sprites on the internet. But instead, I kept yelling "PAH" at Pou and screen recorded his response to use for this IA
Zooble - Around this time, The Amazing Digital Circus was all the rage. I figured I'd add Zooble because I think she is really cool
Ghetto Smosh Ian and Antwon - These are specifically from Ghetto Smosh. Because they were still alive and I thought they were really funny
Justice - One of my cousin's mentioned that I should add a Helltaker character to my upcoming IA
Behind the Scenes
My cousin wanted this particular song for the IA. He suggested having a Smosh cameo which inspired me to implement Ghetto Smosh (Yes it is them specifically), and also wanted Sans blow up the sun (I ended up using Papyrus instead because I wanted to use Sans for another IA)
This is the time where I started work on my animutation engine. Using PenguinMod, I was able to use their start sound (sound) at (number) seconds block to skip to a certain part of the song. The hardest part with making a Scratch animutation was having to start all the way at the beginning just to test out a particular section. But now I have completely bypassed that, making things much more easier for me!
Little did I know. This would be the building blocks for making Foo-La-La! Revisioned. But that will be for later >->
Trivia
Foekoe is called "Clown7" as an inside joke because of how the costumes are structured in the project
This project has a secret FUN value similar to Undertale which dictates whether or not secret stuff is shown
The dialouge that Clown7 says is randomized to say 5 different things depending on the FUN value.
After the animation ends. If the FUN value is between 9-10 (or a 1/5 chance). It will show a secret scene where Deporitaz is in the middle of a Justice circle
Just before the screen cuts to Pou during the peace treaty between Zooble and Pou. There is a quick moment wherein Justice shows up to announce that she was only used once! This is false as explained in the next trivia
Hidden in the code. There is a secret custom block which says "This block does not do anything whatsoever. Congratulations on finding it"
Rush Hour is an "interesting" Image Animation. I wanted to take a break from working on Foo-La-La! Revisioned. So I went on a small sidequest to make this Image Animation
0:00 - The short lore for this Image Animation is that Lemon Demon activated the camera before everyone else was ready, and now everyone is rushing to their positions as quickly as possible
0:01 - Martlet is here because just like everything else before her I had a huge hyperfixation on Undertale Yellow and Martlet. I am admittedly kinda sad that I did not use her very much
0:01-0:05 - This is basically what the Image Animation is all about. Just a bunch of characters doing a bunch of goofy stuff. I also figured I'd test some new stuff out like with the Green guy
0:06 - If you still don't know the main characters, here they are
0:07 - And of course. Azazel finishes everything up
Characters
I don't really want to mention every single character here because of the nature of this Image Animation. So I will only talk about the ones that are interesting enough to be mentioned
Lemon Demon - Gee who invited that guy
Lil' - I knew I had to add in Lil' just from that face. Perfect Image Animation material
Martlet - The sprites for Martlet were pretty small and I didn't know how to upscale her properly without all the compression so I just used a comic I saw on twitter. I think it's an official teaser or smth
Noodle - AKA Aimkid's fursona. Look at that adorable little gremlin!
Vibri - Her first appearance was meant to be Bingus and her Space Adventures. But fate dragged her into Rush Hour instead
Space Dog - Mortal nemesis of Space Cat. Also meant to be for Bingus and her Space Adventures
Jschlatt - I like that stupid face of his
Green Guy - I like how I did the tailgating effect
Scratch Cat Dance - Got it from someone's PFP. Which is why it looks soo low quality
Jevil - You know. I always thought I had Jevil as one of my characters for one of my Image Animations. But it turns out this is his first appearance
Boykisser - I don't know why he glitches out like that
Arnold Schwarzenegger - Also from Wizard Power. STOP WHINING!!
Brownie - Yet another Purrfect Apawcalypse character. Funny how I added Olive, Brownie, Sparky, and Patches. Now I just gotta add Angel and Coco to complete the cast!
TF2 Scout - He laughs I guess
Crashie204 - She makes her canon appearance here
Smurf Cat - The meme is long dead at this point, but I figured to still keep them in regardless
Playtime - Meant to be for a scrapped Image Animation
Melody - There was a pride special that Fandroid did where this really cool hot character came out as bisexual and this was her response
Melodii - Yet another melody character. The intro for her game was really stupid so I added her in!
Nutcracker - Meant to be for a scrapped Image Animation. I might revive it someday. I won't be making promises though
Eric Conveys an Emotion - Wait... What the heck is he doing here?
Bonnie - The first time she actually appears in her full form
Behind the Scenes
The song itself came from 2 and a half hours of MIDI by Neil Cicierega. It was the shortest song I had heard of made by Neil Cicierega at the time, so I decided to create a very short Image Animation out of it
Crashie204 was streaming at the time of creating this animation ao I decided to RUSH this animation before she finishes!
Trivia
This is the shortest Image Animation I have ever made
Eric Wu being included in this Image Animation breaks a few written rules
Easily my best Animutation / Image Animation by far
Foo-La-La! Revisioned is a remaster of an animutation called "Foo-La-La!" for its 20th anniversary. Foo-La-La! was considered to be one of the worst animutations ever made, with a complexity rating of -10 (and you know I love complex animutations). I actually really love the song that was used for this animutation (Dandelion by RIP Slyme), so I decided to create a remaster in Scratch
0:03-0:05 - This is indeed a very special animutation! It's the culmination of every Scratch animutation I had made, and my final love letter to the animutation genre as a whole
0:05-0:08 - The message below is random selected between a list. You do not want to see how I handled that in my code. As for the message displayed in the video, I made a mistake by phrasing it in a way that makes it sound like it took 20 years to create this animutation. It's made worse when I made another mistake in the main page
0:10-0:11 - Meet Tom Thompson! A man who travelled in space and landed on the animutation planet. Realized that he liked it here and decided to stay!
0:11 - Hollow Knight: Silksong is STILL not released yet. Though I can't wait for the release so that this can age poorly!
0:12-0:13 - Tom and his cassettes. They are here for his car extended warranty
0:13-0:14 - You really shouldn't
0:14-0:15 - Title drop since that is exactly what he says
0:15-0:16 - This scene is heavily inspired by that one Aimkid Modify scene. It is also a reference to the Kendrick vs Drake beef which occured whilst I was working on this animutation
0:19 - Around this time, Lil' Tay had faked her death for some weird reason. I decided to reference it in Foo-La-La!
0:20 - A reference to the character selection screen for Super Mario Bros 2. As well as being a showcase of all the main characters. Who will you give the prize to?
0:21 - My cousin gave me this image of someone cosplaying as Caine. He said he wanted it in my upcoming animutation, but I had no use for him. So I turned him into a secret
0:21-0:23 - This is one of the cleanest parts of the animutation. Unfortunately, the youtube reupload lags here. So you can't really see it that well
0:23-0:26 - People were starting to celebrate christmas when I started working on this scene, hence the snowy theme
0:26-0:27 - Love how this scene breaks the bitrate
0:28-0:29 - Praise the HOLY VITAMIN!!!!!
0:31-0:34 - For a better way to explain it, he constantly works because he is running out of time in his life
0:34-0:35 - A demo tape without any logo. Who knows what could be inside?
0:35-0:36 - I will probably not be making any more animutations. Let alone one called "Foekoe and the Salami Corn Pie"
0:36-0:39 - The knife and bread is a reference to a Bonnie's Bakery loading screen. Dine or Die represents the polar opposites Red and Blue still have. And Eve shining at the sun was just something I wanted to add
0:39-0:42 - This part was really hard to work on. A lot of the movement involved a lot of code, which involved a lot of math, which involved a lot of work
0:42-0:44 - In comes Boykisser (a.k.a sillycat). It was a lot of work getting all the sprites I wanted, especially when all of it came from one gif
0:44-0:47 - One of the earliest scenes I remembered working on! It was also when I started grasping the ropes of my own engine
0:51-0:52 - The magic wand comes from Purrfect Apawcalypse. Hopefully this doesn't count as distributing assets or something
0:52 - The pumpkin was originally meant for a halloween update for Bingus Mode. But that got scrapped and I ran out of ideas for what to put here
0:53 - I never watched Soul
0:55-0:57 - I had a lot of fun constructing this scene. It involved a lot of fun angle math as well as visualizing how I wanted this scene to play out in my head
1:00-1:01 - Kira Cola is from Bingus and her Space Adventures. Hack-a-Nack is something I made up for this animmutation
1:02 - Toxic AKA B0B Barker praise!
1:08-1:10 - This might be one of the first scenes I worked on for this animutation. You can tell from how extremely scuffed it is
1:10 - Yeah I think strawberries are cool. It's one of my favorite Ice Cream flavors
1:11 - I just google searched Spatial. I have no idea what it's all about
1:12 - This animutation should be on the history books!
1:13 (Secret) - I realized I made a mistake in my code and had a small blank frame between transitions. So I did the only logical solution and added a secret there!
1:13-1:34 - The first chorus I finished. I absolutely love Dandelion and I am glad to be able to create an animutation for this song!
1:34-1:35 - Introducing Willy Wonka! And the extremely inconsistent text font because I used a custom font which breaks Scratch
1:35-1:36 - I never played Oneshot
1:36-1:38 - This is a reference to a subreddit I used to frequent. It went through an overhaul and pretty much became less funny
1:38-1:39 - Better got the Dough. I hope you can understand that with the lack of captions
1:39-1:42 - Also wanted to do "Here are my two dough bowlls". But Willy Wonka chose the Genocide route
1:42-1:44 - Don't tell me how that works. That's just the laws of this animutation
1:44-1:48 - Also another really early scene. The Moose trades Weird Al his shiny kitchen utensil in exchange for a fake emerald. The Moose got SCAMMED!
1:48-1:50 - The Moose was trying to purchase the Kira Cola, but Justice tricked him into buying the Hack-a-Nack instead!
1:50-1:52 - Funny how the baby character has all the power to shield the sun
1:55-1:57 - The fonts I used for these were generated from a website I completely forgotten. But man is that website goated!
1:57-2:01 - Also required a lot of math to do. I used a scratch technique where I can trick the project into giving a costume a really small size
2:01-2:02 - This scene is random each time you play. It cycles between different images from Eric Conveys and Emotion
2:02-2:05 - Funny how this scene absolutely destroys the bitrate. But at the same time, I used ClipChamp for simple cuts and exported it to 480p. So I don't know what I was expected
2:05-2:08 - That one chill guy would be a pretty fun addition for this scene
2:08 - I don't know
2:09-2:11 - Rest in Piece Ian
2:11 (Secret) - I never knew there was actually a gif for this one image. I always just had this frame and thought that was it
2:11-2:13 - This dialogue plays out like a Tony Zaret skit
2:13-2:16 - It's called "Starry Day" because of the mondegreen
2:16-2:22 - This one took a while to fully complete. It mainly consists of me thinking of all the characters that could be mentioned from the fake lyrics, and getting the sprites for every single one of them
2:22-2:24 - It was made even harder when Willy Wonka shows up and pushes all the characters aside. So I had to make use of 2 variables in the Offset List to make them move out of the way
2:24-2:26 - Toby the Cactus is at the dead center of the stage, and I didn't know whether to push him aside first or last. So I let him stay and had his size increase tremendously. And also Hatsune Miku Mcdonalds!
2:26-2:28 - This storyline was pretty fun to make. Boykisser is trapped on a tree and the Moose wants him out. The tree is made by my sister btw!
2:28-2:29 - As simple as this is, I really like how this scene worked out. I had to research on how to make the Moose walk like in South Park, as well as make the background seamlessly loop
2:29-2:31 - I let Clara handle the lyrics for the scene, except she doesn't want to do it. Hence the dialogue
2:31-2:33 - Psi is psychic and stuff. Hence the Moose asking for help from them
2:34 - Aw man! I missed the perfect!
2:35 - A screenshot of the Ariral spaceships from Voices of the Void. I am pretty sure it's my screenshot
2:36 - Well I never ate any of them. But I would gladly take the Salami Corn Pie!
2:37-2:38 - I like how the house still looks extremely barebones. I figured that no one would care enough for the background if I added in a shimmer
2:38-2:42 - Another fun scene to animate! Especially with the expression changes for Boykisser
2:42-2:47 - Oh wow! A conveniently placed ladder! That wasn't there when the Moose was rushing to the house!
2:50-2:52 - I love the stupid little bounce that Boykisser makes
2:52-2:57 - This one involved A CRAP TON OF MATH! With stuff like Boykisser having to position himself at each step whilst also bobbing around his body
2:57-3:02 - A lot of arrows point at the sunshine to make the point as obvious as possible. All we are missing is a red circle
3:02-3:08 - This is my handdrawing. I like how absurdly out of place this scene is
3:08-3:13 - The Sunflowers are from a PvZ clone on Scratch. It's honestly a really fun project to mod! (You can click on the sun btw)
3:13-3:18 - I just had to add Clover dancing into my animutation. It was pretty lacking until he showed up
3:18-3:19 - These are like all the sprites that Tom Thomson has in this animutation
3:20-3:25 - I didn't know what I wanted to do for the break so I decided to spam all the characters I had used up to that point
3:25-3:27 - Getting the Boykissers to animate properly was pretty fun. I made use of "Pointers" and had them point to the location of the location of each Boykisser costume in the Offset List memory. Does that sound complex? Well that's just how I animate using my engine!
3:27-3:29 - I remember trying to get that perfect motion for Tom Thomson's glide was pretty difficult
3:30-3:31 - If a certain variable was set to true. Chujin would replace Tom Thomson instead. Makes me want to work on that Director's Cut
3:31-3:32 - "YOU'RE TOO SLOW" -Oliver (probably)
3:32-3:35 - Another scene messed up by the bitrate, thankfully the humble Orange Cat is here!
3:35-3:38 - Lil' Tay enters the sack! Now there are TWO things inside of it!
3:41-3:43 - Boykisser obtains another food item that's nice to eat
3:43-3:45 - The Last of Me is the same as The Last of Us but every single character is replaced with the characters from my Image Animation series
3:46-3:48 - Willy Wonka gives the sack to the Moose. Remember that the contains inside are the Moon and Lil' Tay. The Moose has all the rights to be flattered
3:48-3:51 - Also pronounced as "Very Special Mockery". This has strange implications for the previous scene
3:56-4:01 - A screenshot of something that happened in my Voices of the Void playthrough. That mannequin does not want to be there!
4:01-4:06 - I got really lazy at this point. Hence the lack of motion
4:12-4:17 - And now the lyrics are back to how they originally were in the previous animutation
4:17-4:22 - We are looking at the Moose's inventory. Funny how well I recreated the backpack GUI from the original animutation
4:27-4:33 - Another scene which used pointers. It's kinda funny how complicated a lot of these simple scenes are to program
4:27-4:33 - Another scene which used pointers. It's kinda funny how complicated a lot of these simple scenes are to program
4:33-4:46 - And this is where the animutation ends! I made sure that the outro was the last thing I worked on so that I could finalize the full character lineup and have them all appear in this dance party!
4:46-4:53 - One of the first things I really wanted to do for the outro was make the characters fly. I wanted them to fly onto the cloud and meet up with the Colin Mochrie sun as a final sendoff to everything I want to do for my Scratch animutations. They don't really notice it, but they sure are enjoying the moment!
4:53-5:14 - Now is the perfect time to roll the credits! I am unsure if there are any other animutations which had their credits roll out like this, but I sure as hell picked an amazing song with an amazing outro for something like this!
5:15-5:25 - This is where the sun finally makes his presence known, by dancing along with everyone else. Although it is a long forgotten god who only appears in a dead animation genre, it enjoys the small amounts of company it still receives, and would gladly dance along to its newfound friends!
5:25-5:35 - I don't really have much to say, but I thank every single one of you for reading my inner thoughts about this really weird animutation!
5:35-5:52 - And then the scene fades to black because I don't know how else to end it :P
Characters
Colin Mochrie - The front page character for Animutations. It would be a mistake to not let him in!
Tom Thomson - Man from space who now loves it here! A lot of his sprites fit with my idea for the animutation
The Cassettes - Waiting for Tom's Car Extended Warranty
Rhino - Despite its humbleness, it is a feral beast that should NOT be left out. Avoid it at all costs. Its actions are too much for the Scratch filters
Lil' Tay - I don't actually know much about Lil' Tay. Only brief mentions back in 2018
Shocked Caine Cosplay - Given to me by my cousin
Black Frown - Originally meant to be Freddy Fazbear. But I couldn't make it not look goofy
Mariah Carey - Christmas was right around the corner when I started working on this scene. Hence the Mariah Carey
Temmie Chang - I had an idea to create an animation based around Temmie Chang for her birthday. But that was a stupid idea. I really like her spin animation so I added it here
DanTDM - I was running out of characters to add into my animutation so I revisited my old animutations to use one
Fishman Cat - This guy does a funny animation when he attacks. And also used for the Battle Cats rule
Holy Vitamin - A censor of Horny Vitamin
Sekai - From some game I don't know about
Kanye - All his schizophrenic ramblings aside, he is a hilarious pick for animutations
Foekoe - Once again using Foekoe even though I know nothing about the guy
Zooble - I pretty much don't care about The Amazing Digital Circus at this point. But I added them in regardless
Pou - PAHH!!
Eve - Originally meant to be using a different eve where her body was fully naked. Decided against it because of obvious reasons
Boykisser - Oh hey it's Boykisser! I chose him because he had the perfect voice for PES
White Ninja - This guy originates from a webcomic, but I only know him as the "C'mon do something" guy
Knees - Where the hell do the knees come from?
Psi - PES said "Psy" referencing his DJ name. I interpret it as him saying "Psi", so I used the BTD6 Hero Monkey with the same name
Clown - Funny how the clown is one of the only few animutation characters who made a revival in my Image Animations
Orange Cat - From Aimkid's Soft Fuzzy Man animation. Doesn't have a canon name so I call them Orange Cat
The Dud - Whenever I think of The Dud, I think of those SCP visual cognitohazards where simply viewing an object causes some scary side effects
Toxic AKA B0B Barker - Subliminal shoutout
Noise - A bit of a confession to make. I have no idea who Noise is as I never played Pizza Tower before
Susie - In this context. Susie is Foekoe's niece. Make of that what you will
Unnamed Secret Character - Only exists for a frame to point out a stupid mistake I made
Oliver - I think they were one of the earliest characters I had added in. This was around the time when Fundamental Papers Education was pretty popular, and I really liked Oliver's design
Willy Wonka - Willy Wonka was the last "main" character to be added in. I had a bit of trouble figuring out who should be Ilmari, until I saw Channathan's "Omlette Tacha Mean Technology". Which inspired me to use Willy Wonka
Niko - Popular enough to own an umbrella company, and have their design being Niko's face
DoughFruit - From Roblox Blox Fruits. A game I never played
Bowll - This was being worked on before Undertale Yellow was released. Having a character named Bowll saved my life for this scene, since I was having trouble with what to do here
Moose - The first character I added into this animutation. His hat is a reference to Earth Vs. Funk. In contrast to Ilmari's hat saying "Girl Power", the Moose's hat says "Girl Failure"
Weird Al - This was before I actually started listening to Weird Al. I will admit, his Floating Orb video was actually convincing
Justice - Once again makes her return for this animutation
Tarma - I remember my arcade having a Metal Slug 3 cabinet and I would play it all the time! I would never beat the crab boss in the first mission because I SUCKED!!
Chujin - I really wanted there to be lore in my animutations, which is why I added Chujin. I explain more in - Lore -
Maggie - I like the idea of a baby having the power to shield the entire sun
Panini - An early idea to add this character when I started working on the fake lyrics
Eric Wu - Exactly where he should be
Batboy - Ripped from Elvis Not Included, and inspired from the same sceen on Foo-La-La!
Ghetto Smosh Ian - Ate shrooms and died of Ligma
Deporitaz - The animutation was lacking a special someone, so I put Deporitaz as the background
Chara - She remembers your genocides
Toby - From a very old cartoon I used to watch
Cash Cow - Instead of milk, he gives liquified cash. I don't know how that works
Teardrop - Named "Watery" in the animutation because there was no watery character like her. But anyways fun fact: Did you know Aimkid was originally gonna make the intro to TPOT? That is one of the only few things I know about Object Shows
Liver Killer - One of my OCs. Someone stop him!
Hatsune Miku Mcdonalds - By nezunami on Twitter / X. She is trying to make a living
Clara - Clara is my imaginary friend, and my one step closer to transitioning
Locksteps - I don't know they looked funny
Granny - I don't know why they let her do it. That just seems irresponsible of them!
Sunflower - The sunflowers are from Plant's Vs Zombies. With the art being from MelzAwzomeDede on Scratch. I actually really liked his PvZ game a lot! Which is why I used his flower design
Ghetto Smosh Antwon - He has a baseball bat and is the main focus for the background
Samurai - Everybody loves the Samurai!
Behind the Scenes
Foo-La-La! was a really old animutation that was considered to be one of the worst ones ever made. Although I do agree with the sentiment, I absolutely loved the song used and felt that it really had the potential for something even greater. Which is why I came along and decided to try and create a sort of remaster for the animutation
I started my first W.I.P project at December 2023. But I realized that I did not have the proper knowledge to embark on such a quest, and scrapped it for the time being until I felt prepared enough for it
Progress on Foo-La-La! Revisioned is like an exponential curve. During the early months, I wasn't taking the project seriously and just did a few scenes before ignoring it. But as the 20th anniversary crept closer, I started to take it a lot more seriously and focused more hours into it. The 20th anniversary was the only reason this animutation was released in the first place
I knew I would use a lot of characters for this animutation, but I had no idea which ones I wanted to use specifically. Stuff like Undertale Yellow and some more recent events were handed to me whilst I was developing the animutation, but I also had to dig deep into my memories to find old characters I've known about for countless years (Such as Toby and Tarma)
The preloader was something that I also developed for the animutation. In fact, the idea of adding a preloader for a Scratch animutation was unheard of at the time. Since I knew how to create a functional loading screen, as well as the sheer complexity my animutation was about to be. I figured I would go on a short sidequest to try and develop a preloader for my animutation. Which you can see right here!
Once the final months started to roll around, I decided to log my progress so that I knew just how fast I was going. Which is probably the best thing that happened to me, since it helped motivate me to try and push this thing further and further to completion. I realized I wasn't even halfway complete with the animutation, and it was already September! Which was a sign that I should take this much more seriously now
It got to the point where I started working on the animutation daily. I would dedicate a portion of my time to getting a scene or two finished, and have it logged so I could feel satisfied whenever I saw the "completed" number go up. By October 4th, I already gotten halfway
Even though this took an entire year to create. I LOVE the final result! It's everything I dreamed of making, and encapsulates the beauty of how I perceive both my Image Animations and the animutation genre as a whole
But as much as I love it. It's also the reason why I stopped finding the exact same love I had for my Image Animation series. For what it's worth, I just feel extremely demotivated whenever I want to try and create another Image Animation. Which is probably why the series stopped shortly after
I joked about creating a continuation with the song "Nettaiya". But the truth is, I really don't feel like I want to continue something like this anymore. I feel like I have given a proper finale to my scratch animutations
If one day, someome watches Foo-La-La! Revisioned, and gets inspired enough to create their own animutation. I would gladly watch it! I have seen a remix of another animutation with a few characters from Red & Blue, which is the closest I have gotten to something like that
A christmas special and the finale for my Image Animation Series. This ties off all the loose ends I had from my previous IAs, whilst also being a pretty fun watch!
0:00 - I always envisioned Laura being a guitarist. Here, I have given her an upgrade. I also used Aimkid's self OC, which was used for her patreon video (I got this specific image from a Lemon Demon iceberg). Bingus is dressed for Saints Patricks Day despite it being christmas. It's also an excuse for using that image for my IA
0:01 - First the ugly grandma, and now Jevil?! Can Miles Morales ever get a break?
0:03 - This scene with Fandrew was inspired by a meme that used this exact song
0:04-0:05 - Having to get the separate frames for this Boykisser gif without the background was pretty rough. I knew alot of them were repeats, so I only saved the different frames and reconstructed the gif myself
0:07-0:09 - The background was a last minute addition, I couldn't think of anything better
0:11-0:13 - At this point. I was highly aware that my Image Animations are brainrot, so I decided to embrace it
0:13-0:15 - Scout throwing a flashbang is a reference to a meme my cousin wanted put in this IA. He liked how I implemented it here as well
0:15-0:18 - This particular scene is one of the first ones I did for this IA. As well as being a reference to a scene from Wizard Power! (Noodle's movement is a minor reference to Earth vs Funk)
0:19-0:22 - This scene was constructed to try and make it as goofy as possible
0:21-0:22 - Probably the first time I used The Cat's summoning animation. I reversed it here to make it look like she is demanifestating
0:22-0:25 - Similar to the Boykisser gif. I had to reconstruct the dancing animation for the wizards
0:25-0:26 - Laura's curse still lives on! I traced her sprite to be more higher quality but I couldn't do it with her face without making it look goofy, so that is still from the original
0:26-0:28 - Pau Claire is here because I asked one of her fans for an image to use for my IA and they sent me this image
0:28-0:30 - Yeah this is stupid, that's why Azazel is here
0:30 - Why the hell do I still make these? I wonder why?
0:30-0:37 - I admit that I had no idea what I wanted to do here. So I brought up the most random characters and had them do some weird stuff
0:40 (secret) - I made a mistake but decided to keep it because it was funny. I don't even know how I managed to do it in the first place
0:41 - They were the only two characters I had with a pointing sprite
0:44-0:45 - I really wanted Fandrew to "not take it anymore". He just seemed like someone to do such a thing
0:45-0:49 - The bells are from a preset costume in Scratch, and I made the leaves and ribbon myself. Which is why they both look soo different
0:49-0:51 - Crashie204 has yet to react to this IA, so I am curious to see what her reaction to this scene will be. I will keep y'all updated when she does react to it
0:51-0:53 - I still have yet to touch a lot of Davinci Resolve features, so I experimented with Fandrew and made him look stupider
0:53-0:56 - There isn't really a fourth character for the fun gang, but I had an empty slot. So I gave that to Vibri
0:57-1:00 - One of the last scenes I worked on for this IA. I couldn't quite get the perfect touch for it (And also I should've worked on Jevil's text a little better because it looks ugly)
1:06-1:07 - "And for my final act, I shall throw a flashbang to ruin Christmas and especially Patches' day" - Scout (probably)
1:08 - So Image Animations started with Laura and ends with Bonnie. What a series!
1:09-1:21 - This is related to the lore that I was building for my Image Animations. I explain it a bit more on - Lore -
Characters
Laura - Sometime after my hiatus to work on Foo-La-La! Revisioned. I decided to try and vector trace some of these characters to make them more higher quality (Since some sprite extractions were very low quality). I did this with Laura and I honestly think I did a great job!
Nathan Barnatt - Funny how you can feel the low FPS from this gif
Aimkid - I figured using her pink character counts as me adding Aimkid herself into the Image Animation?
Bingus - It would be a crime to not include her for my final IA
Unused Green Boss - I actually heard that this boss got reused for that one cuphead DLC. So congrats on the transition!
Miles Morales - I had to look through old DMs to find this image again. What a trip down memory lane!
Jevil - I still think Jevil is the best secret boss in Deltarune, even after all the new ones added in Chapters 3 and 4
Bonnie - I figured I should seriously add Bonnie for my christmas special, since I have always wanted to add her in someday
Melodii - I am still using that extremely goofy Melodii image since I couldn't find an even goofier one
Fandrew - I do still really miss Fandroid, but I have Fandrew to lift my spirits!
Bonnie Head - So wait. There are TWO Bonnie characters? I don't remember if that's intentional or unintentional. Oh whatever the lore is all over the place
Boykisser - Same guy from the Scratch animutations
Crashie204 - Because Crashie204 has been really supportive of my Image Animations
A Gift of Cats - Getting this gif was done using a new technique by using a Battle Cats app to help me get the full animation with a green screen background, which I then removed using a chroma key. The downside for doing this is that Davinci Resolve lags a ton whenever it has to render him
Lemon Demon - Despite messing up once, he still has a spot in my Image Animations!
Patches - I think he's pretty hot
Geometry Dash Hand - He's a character because he is sentient. Loves causing mischief by poking characters
Cole Brew - He's literally me. But instead of music, it's Image Animation
Lil' - Using the same image for the same reason as Melodii
Martlet - She is desperately trying to fly but can't
Vibri - I love how chill she looks
Extremely tired peashooter cosplayer - Another image that my cousin wanted to add for my upcoming IA. I am pretty sure it's obvious if you have been reading this retrospective chronologically
Will Smith Skibidi Toilet - Has a special place in our hearts, even just mentioning his name is hilarious
Scout - THINK FAST! CHUCKLENUTS!
Noodle - She's cute, okay?
Arnold Schwarzeneggar - Still wants you to STOP WHINING!!
Jschlatt - This image is from an edit to put Jschlatt's head in Frank Sinatra's body. I just stole the head and used it
Sans Undertale - This gif of sans dancing is from the Undertale Growspurt AU
Krusty the Clown - Extracted from the animutation Cold Heart
The Cat - I only know of Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion because of the cat
Wizard Guy - The wizards are from a cuphead clone I refuse to remember. And oh gosh I did a horrible job at trying to remove their background. It was proven to be a bit tricky trying to extract their sprites, so I had to take it from video instead. I really did a horrible job here
Pau Claire - Because I had a Pau Claire obsession whilst this was being created
Azazel - She has not moved an inch, but we know she is still conscious
Brownie - Only shows up for the secret scene, nothing else
Unnamed Dancing Guy - Taken from the Jesus H. Christ animutation. This is actually two sprites in one meshed together in Flash, so I had to do some extra work trying to get this exact animation
Scratch Cat - Used to point out an oversight I made
Behind the Scenes
This Image Animation was inspired by a meme I saw on reddit which used the same song. As soon as I saw it, I immediately went to work creating this Image Animation
The Image Animation was never meant to be Christmas themed. I was just soo troubled by Foo-La-La! Revisioned that it kept being pushed aside until I finally finished working on Foo-La-La! Revisioned on December 17. That was when I decided to work on Frost Moon
This was also when I started incorporating Vector traces of some characters because some of the extracted sprites online are too low quality
Trivia
This is the final Image Animation to end the series. But not the chronological final ;)
This was one of the first things I made as soon as I found a fix to my Davinci Resolve (Since it kept lagging for some reason)
This is also meant to be a lesser version of a planned Image Animation I wanted to make in the future. Similar to Hot Lava and EXTREMELY HOT LAVA!!! (See - Scrapped Content - for more info)
This is literally just the preloader for Foo-La-La! Revisioned, but it's own thing. Is there really anything else I should say about it?
Trivia
Some elements had changed from this and the Foo-La-La! Revisioned preloader. Maining changing the text to be in a different position with the extra hindsight of the loading gui
There are still a few Image Animations that I really want to complete, a lot of them actually being somewhat finished and may be posted in the future eventually! (Sorted by most likely to actually release)
Untitled-3 (Adobe Animate)
An animation made to test the waters for Adobe Animate. This is honestly the exact same as Preloader Test except with characters from both worlds
This animation is literally complete. I just have to find a way to display it on my website whilst still being interactable (Since that's where all the magic is)
Goofy animutation I really wanted to create. But couldn't because of conflicting schedules
It's still heavy in production. I won't make any promises, but I wish I can release it
Lore
Did you even know that my animutations had any lore? Pretty much since Erika, I had been developing a somewhat comprehensive story to my series to keep everything in shape
Both my Scratch Animutations and Davinci Resolve Image Animations are set in an entirely separate dimension
The main thing that comes from this is that characters that appear in my Davinci Resolve Image Animations do not exist in my Scratch Animutations, and vice versa
Because of this method of thinking. I would be really careful as to which characters I should put in my Image Animations / Animutations. I considered Image Animations to be the "better" series, which is why a lot of my favorite characters are in Davinci Resolve
The only exception to this rule is Boykisser, who is allowed in both universes (and yes he is aware that he is in both universes)
I made this up before adding Scratch Cat in Kleptospira. Because of this oversight, I decided to keep it and mention it in A Frosty Cold Night where Scratch Cat references the song used for Foo-La-La! Revisioned. He ended up in the wrong dimension!
Though. I actually broke this rule by including Eric Wu in Rush Hour, when he was meant to be in Foo-La-La! Revisioned. That wasn't intentional, and I feel bad for only noticing that whilst creating this retrospective
You might also say that Crashie204 being in the credits of Foo-La-La! Revisoned breaks the rule. But I don't count that
Davinci Resolve Specific Lore
"The Fun Gang" represents Bingus, Laura, and The Cat. There are just a bunch of people who I thought would go hard as a group back in Bingus and my Everlasting Sanity. Which is why they are all featured in the music scene
The Fun Gang mainly consists of one character. Though I like the idea of a fourth character who isn't truly decided. Some notable "Fourth members" include
Vibri
Bonnie Head
Bonnie
Noodle
Cole Brew
Laura got cursed by one of the Japanese Goblins back in Bingus and my Everlasting Sanity, causing her to be enraged whenever she sees a human. I really wanted the series to somewhat revolve around it
Scratch Specific Lore
A lot of the Scratch lore revolved around Chujin. It started with him suddenly appearing one day in "The pearly gates of this... hell", which is referring to the Scratch dimension
He would soon be found by Boykisser and escorted back into the main house where Foo-La-La! Revisioned takes place. He tries to adjust himself into this new society, but still plans to try and somehow leave this place
I like the idea that Chujin would show up to tease an upcoming Scratch Animutation (Example: I wanted Nettaiya to be about burning the world, Chujin would talk about how things suddenly got hotter in Foo-La-La! Revisioned)
I wanted Boykisser to actually be a lot more powerful / clever than he looks. I just love the idea of a gay furry being a huge plot device purely for the comedic effect it would give
Adobe Animate Specific Lore
Whilst I was still working on implementing Adobe Animate. I had the idea that Adobe Animate animations would be the only time where I could use characters from both Davinci Resolve and Scratch. I think of it as like "The Middleground"
This is also where I would showcase new upcoming characters that had never been used by both universes before
This is also where I would've showcased the "Gods" of the Image Animation series. Which are the dream characters from Night in the Woods. My idea for these guys was that they are the personification of the author of Image Animations (A.K.A me). And that they are the ones that create the events for all the Image Animations / Animutations
Scrapped Content
I had A LOT of plans for my Image Animations, but I knew it would be unrealistic to try and do every single one of these. Which is why a lot of them got scrapped
Image Animations
Laura's Strangest Dream - I Want To Wake Up
The idea for this Image Animation was that it involved around Laura experiencing the strangest dream she has ever had. This was one of the earliest ideas I had for an Image Animation, before I even finished Kleptospira
SPIDERS! - Antispider
The gimmick for this Image Animation was that it primarily used spider characters. Which made me realize the lack thereof
This was one of the few Image Animations to make it out of concept and into Davinci Resolve! (Though it appears I might've broken it accidentally by loading it in a very recent Davinci Resolve version)
High Voltage - Zero Gravity
This was originally meant to be for the United Nations event where I had to make a german related song!
I thought of the first few seconds, and then immediately ran out of ideas!
Bingus EVERLASTING Dance - El Disco Malvado De Muerty (Deporitaz)
Not to be confused with Bingus ENDLESS Dance
This IA was intended to be a throwback to Bingus and my Everlasting Sanity. Containing every character I had added since then
This is also a more hyper version of Bingus ENDLESS Dance. By adding more character interactions and such
Laura vs Sans - Steam Powered Lazerbeam
Whilst this was still considered a series, I had plans to create 3 seasons for the series. This was meant to the season 1 finale
This animutation is about how Sans is (for some reason) better than Laura (and the fun gang) in a music contest. Laura gets pissed and decides to create a really good guitar via a montage. Laura plays the first few notes, only for one of the strings to immediately break. Which causes her to lash out and attack Sans with the guitar. Playtime watches this in a sad expression, which distracts and confuses Laura. Before Sans Gaster Blaster's Laura and fades into a white screen. The scene ends with a zoom-in on Bingus's face
This Image Animation actually has a bit of a backstory. It was inspired by a dream I had with a very similar premise. It was an undertale AMV with Sans and Laura fighting against each other in the corridor. It was supported with a Stronger Than You cover with both characters singing (though I long forgotten what happens). At around the time where the song ends, Playtime shows up which confuses Laura, Sans then gets the advantage and successfully kills Laura. There is a lot more that happens in my dream, but I am just simplifying it for the retrospective
This is another Image Animation to make it into Davinci Resolve. And I actually worked on a barebones intro!
unnamed season 2 starter - The Murrayless Murray Mix
Just like with Laura vs Sans. This was when
The video itself is very similar to Hot Lava, with a bunch of animated characters and such. I also wanted Bingus to not be featured here due to special reasons I admittedly forgot
Heaven - Seizures in the Sun
This is a bit of a more special Image Animation. Seizures in the Sun is my favorite Deporitaz song, and I really wanted to create something special for whenever I try to create an Image Animation for it
The video itself is very similar to Hot Lava, with a bunch of animated characters and such. I also wanted Bingus to not be featured here due to special reasons I admittedly forgot
The outro would be Jesus Christ opening the pearly gates of heaven and having every single character enter in a very cool montage. Except for Aimkid's White Wolf who is too distracted dancing, and when they do realize, it's already too late because Heaven is full!
EXTREMELY HOT LAVA!!! - Molten Lava 2000
Meant to be the even more hyperactive version of Hot Lava. The scenes are very similar to Hot Lava but with even more characters than before
During the break, Filibuster from The Battle Cats shows up and tries to destroy the party. But because of his really slow attack speed, it takes a while before he becomes a threat
He soon realizes this, so he instead absorbs all the characters to speed up his attack. That is when Bingus shows up and just bonks him, instantly killing him
Character Machine - Attention
I was still hard at work trying to create the lore for my Image Animations. My first initial idea was that all the characters were created using a machine
The idea for this IA was that the machine was starting to become a lot more productive than usual. Pumping out a lot of new characters to use for this animutation specifically
This also had a few gimmicks. Such as only being able to use the same character twice.
Bingus and her Underwater Adventures - Untitled (Deporitaz)
Almost similar to Bingus and her Space Adventures, but mostly without any dialogue. It involved Bingus aboarding the yellow submarine and visiting a lot of cool underwater places before crashing her submarine at the end
Guitar Craze - Binary (Deporitaz)
This was originally meant to be the sixth IA for Season 1. The gimmick was that it involved a rotating cast of non repeated characters, similar to Attention
Fandrew's new guitar - Cheezy as Cheez
Meant for the second season. Was meant to be all about Fandrew and his newest guitar
Odd Sense of Nostalgia - Please Don't Recycle
This was meant to be another Laura-centric Image Animation. It was all about how much Laura misses her old world (AEwVS), and how alone and isolated she feels in the Image Animation world
It would eventually devolve into the main villain revealing themselves to be the Lemon Demon (As shown from Hyakugojyuuichi 2003)
unnamed season 3 starter - Monkey Brain Soup for the Soul
This would've mainly involved Bingus, The Cat, Cole Brew, and Jevil doing whatever goofy stuff until the pirate from Bonnie's Bakery shows up as the protagonist for the IA and tries to fight them because they stole his cannon off-camera. The gang would eventually use the cannon against him causing his defeat
untitled finale - Elsewhere (Lemon Demon)
This was my original plan for an ending to my Image Animations. It would involve the fun gang destroying the Lemon Demon, with all the characters that I had used up to that point helping them to defeat him
Some notable characters include
Angry Cat - I always like the idea that he gets a tank but doesn't know how to use it. Except he finally does when it matters the most!
The Pirate - He set aside his differences with the fun gang to try and destroy Lemon Demon. He also has his cannon back
Patches - I think he teams up with the pirate to kamikaze onto the Lemon Demon?
untitled laura finale - MoreSynthPop (Lemon Demon)
This is something I still think about even to this day. I really love the ideal character that I given to Laura, and I really wanted to give her a proper sendoff for my Image Animations.
It involves God meeting with the fun gang, and him asking Laura in particular what she wants. She then talks about how she truly wants to return back home to the AEwVS universe. God looks down and opens a door revealing a doorway to a new world, she says one last goodbye to the fun gang before finally leaving to go back to where she came from
This is where the actual song starts. She spawns back and is immediately greeted with a beautiful hill near the horizon. But no Infinity School (The place where she comes from). The animation revolves around her trying to find the school, whilst animals of different species willingly help her out
During the climax, the time has turned to night, and she still feels lost and confused. So as a last ditch effort, she calls out to God and vents out her frustrations, asking him why she hasn't found her home yet
After her vent, she looks back at all the animals who all motion their heads to look up. She sees that God responded by summoning a meteor shower at the sky, which is flowing to the direction she should go. The animals that she had accumulated react by rushing towers the direction of the meteors, in which Laura soon follows after. This scene was inspired by my first playthrough of Voices of the Void, in which the 1st day is guaranteed to show a Meteor Shower
After a while of running. She finally sees Infinity School in the horizon. She looks back at the animals she has accumulated and they all motion her to return to where she belongs. Afterwhich, she proceeds to run, run as fast as she ever could. She is finally soo happy to see the schoolhouse that she begins to cry whilst doing so. I don't think I could ever properly explain how she feels
The outro involves her finally entering the schoolhouse, with the rest of the characters looking back at her with happiness in their eyes. From their perspective, she had been gone for a really long time. And for her to suddenly show up at the front door would be unbelievable. I actually don't know how they would truly react to something like that
This was planned to be the "true" finale for Image Animations. As I wanted this to be the final end for Laura (Which means she won't be coming back), as well as a representation of me and how I feel with my Image Animation series
I'm sorry if this just became rambling. This song is one of my favorite Lemon Demon songs of all time, and I really just wanted to finally put this out of my head and into the world. Even if it's just a simple idea
As mentioned from one of my Foo-La-La! Revisioned updates. My idea for this animutation was that a new set of characters has gotten orders from the devil himself to turn the scratch world into a hellish landscape
(Scratch) Archer's plans to Overthrow the Government - Jabberwocky (Cojum Dip)
Something I really wished I could do. My idea for this animutation was that Archer (from Supernatural Hijinks) was against the devil's wishes and instead plans to overthrow him by vandalizing a random statue. Which turns into Freddy Fazbear for some reason (this is inspired by a meme I saw)
(Scratch) untitled alternative for archer - AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!! (Deporitaz)
This is a lore-less alternative of the animutation above where everything plays out like a normal animutation
(Scratch) untitled one animutation - One (Rip Slyme)
This mainly shows the other side of the coin for hating the devil. The VOTV Mannequins have formed a secret mafia society. They know that they are unable to defeat the devil, but that doesn't matter to them anymore since they know the world is going to end regardless of if the government falls. So they spend their time hanging out and drinking beer and stuff
(Scratch) Hell - Smells like Teen Spirit (Kurt C- Actually, you already know who made this)
This is essentially the Scratch equivalent to "Heaven". It would've contained every single character I had used up to that point, and would've been a final conclusion to my Scratch animutations
Archer's army as well as the mannequins have also teamed up to try and stop the devil, but it's too late as the animutation ends with the devil destroying the Colin Mochrie sun causing the entire project to turn black
I also had the idea that for the outro, it would be the fun gang showing up on frame, looking at their surroundings, and Bingus announcing that "This would be the best place to call Home!". Which would make the Scratch animutations a prequel of the Davinci Resolve Image Animations. To fit Boykisser in the lore, I guess he survived the explosion
Since I have nowhere to mention this. The devil is specifically the Storyteller devil
(Adobe Animate) The Middleground - How Many Times (Deporitaz)
This animation would've been the introduction to how the rules for Adobe Animate would've worked. It mainly contained characters that hadn't been used before, like Martlet, Ted McDoodles (from 60 Seconds!), Vincent (from Vincent: The Secret of Myers), and some other characters I long forgotten about
The idea for this animation was that a bunch of characters from both Scratch and Davinci Resolve are in a race against each other, and a bunch of other goofy stuff happens as well
This is yet another animutation that I really wish I could do, because the song just fits in the context of an animutation. Of I wish I could visit an alternate universe just so I can see what this animutation would look like
If you are curious, the race contestants are as follows
Martlet
Panini
Aimkid's White Wolf
Cole Brew
Willy Wonka (Specifically with his walking animation from the Untitled animutation by Neil Cicierega)
Courier Cat
???
???
There are meant to be eight in total, but I couldn't think of the last two
(Adobe Animate) untitled party - Bendy Chapter 3 Song (Fandroid)
I chose this song in particular because I got reminded of the time when Fandroid hosted an event where fans could comment on what the lyrics for the song should be, and he chose the ones that worked well together and made this absolute jamful experience! I thought it would also kinda fit well in my animation (and also because I liked the song a lot)
It's mainly just a bunch of unused characters having a party in the middleground. Hence the name, some notable characters who sing the lyrics for this song are
The Protagonist from Bonnie's Bakery
Giant Heavy Robot from Team Fortress 2
The Diamond Dancer from Deltarune Chapter 1
For the line "This machine has grown soo lonely". I interpreted as a callback to the Character Machine I thought about earlier, and it suddenly bouncing back with activity. Hence the reason for the party
I also thought of some mondegreens for this song, since I refused to search for the lyrics. Most notably: "You're a stack of yarn!"
There are probably a lot more scrapped animutations, but I really don't remember at this point
