Updates!

So uhh.. There is a Bop__ shaped hyperfixation staying in my heart like a mold. But let's leave that alone for later on in the page because I know I will talk about it for a long time. Let's first talk about what I have been doing for the past month!

Image Animations

Yes, you read that right, I am making a very small return to my Image Animations, mainly just cause I am bored and sorta want to pass the time with something

This will be a short 40 second IA about a song I really wanted to have an IA about but couldn't find the right time for it. It's also for testing out 60 fps and a 640:360 display for my Scratch animation engine!

Music

Remember back in 2023 when I made a song called Underwater? I am thinking of a bit of a remake >->

I will admit, I had a lot of trouble with figuring out how Cakewalk worked. The software just didn't feel like something I would like to use for my hobby. And whilst FL Studio is the most popular option, I am not a fan of having to pirate it (because I can't pay for much)

And seeing that Bop also uses LMMS to make her music, I decided to try and give it a shot myself! My pace is pretty casual, I work on it whenever I have nothing better to do during the night, because I feel like nighttime is the perfect time to work on it (if you know what I mean)

Programming

Well I still wanna work on that roblox FNAF game that I talked about last update, but seeing all the recent roblox controversy where they tried suing a youtuber who is trying protecting their playerbase got me very demotivated to working on this project. I still haven't fully given up on it yet, but just using roblox feels like I am supporting the company who I really don't want to support

Outside of that, I have also been learning GODOT just recently. I know that Scratch wouldn't really get me far, so I figured I would try learning a new game engine maybe for the future (even though I do not plan on pursuing a career at game development)

I am also learning Java at school for mobile development and stuff like that! Whoopee I can't wait for that! That sounds really fun!

So back in 2023, I had a huge hyperfixation on Bonnie's Bakery and Lemon Demon. In 2024, I had a huge hyperfixation on Martlet from Undertale Yellow. And now... *Sigh* okay uhh.. Let's actually talk about that Bop__ shaped hyperfixation I have been alluding towards at the start. So remember how I stumbled onto the FNAF MML? One of the top 3 hardest max modes from that list comes from a game called "Girl's Night". I decided to check it out myself because it piqued my interest. And oh gosh, Thisi game pulled out the excaliber from the rocks, stabbed me at the chest, pierced through my heart, and proceeded to spread its peakness onto my bleeding body. In other words, it has activated my autism and became one of my hyperfixations

And playing through the game got me very curious so I decided to look into the publishers profile (ITDEER (it/its)). I find that the other game that it has made is Too Many Nights. Which I actually really enjoy and respect as a Scratch fangame (Yes it was made in Scratch, check the game out and see what I mean). But that was just the publisher / coder, so I decided to look at the artist's profile instead (Bop__). AND THAT MY FRIENDS IS MISTAKE NUMBER TWO!! I swear I scrolled through soo many posts of hers that I became instantly addicted. Her art is absolutely awesome and she would balance it out with random keyboard spam or absolute peak like this. AND I SWEAR I CANNOT CONTROL MYSELF SHE IS LITERALLY ME AHHHHHHHWERUHGQER3VENLJUEHVBUPEHBEQ!!!!!

Now I am trying my hardest to keep my heart as steady as possible whilst writing all of this, but what I am trying to say is that I have been a huge fan ever since I found out about her gamejolt. And seeing just how much I relate to this person made me unbelievably happy. Bop will most likely not see any of this (if she does I am soo sorry about everything I said before), but I just wanna say that I heavily respect you as a person and wish the best for your future endeavors and shit
